  1. Paul Warne was supposedly interviewed when we eventually brought in JDT....feels very much like the kind of manager / head coach that Waggott would support getting the job as well.
  2. There's being positive and then there's being delusional. Delap seems to be the latter in this case, but I do admire his ability to stay positive.
  3. Who's the best available candidate? Probably Steve Cooper. Who do I want? Damien Duff because why the f*ck not at this point. Who do I think we'll get? Rob Edwards
  4. Yeah, that statement is their attempt at making him look like the villain. It's utterly despicable.
  5. Agreed. Nobody comes out of this well at all. The club look awful for not backing Eustace. Eustace himself looks an absolute arse for bailing on the players in this way. The players will be fuming and probably hugely demotivated ahead of a big game on Wednesday. Heads will have dropped. JUST SELL THE CLUB FFS
  6. Mike Williamson just got binned by bottom of the football league Carlisle...I honestly wouldn't be surprised at this point.
  7. Agreed, aside from the fact that he is a really dislikeable figure, Martin is just like Scott Parker...can only really do a job when he's got money to spend. Steve Cooper would be my choice, but there is probably no chance in hell of him coming to Rovers. I don't really see anyone out there that can come in and rally the troops in this time of need. It'll be someone cheap, available and that they can lie to for roughly 12 months before they get fed up as well.
  8. Listening to his podcast in recent weeks you can hear the frustration growing within him....it was only a matter of time before he went with something like this, and credit to him for doing so.
  9. Ergo he hasn't been backed. It's simple. When he joined he'll have been given assurances. Those assurances haven't been kept by the club, so he hasn't been backed.
  10. He hasn't been backed, simple as that. Just as Christ Sutton said on commentary yesterday.
  11. I think the point that the others are making is that the family thing is not his MAIN reason for going to Derby. It's a bonus for him to be closer to family but its clear that Venkys, Waggott, Suhail and the lack of support he's had in strengthening the squad is clearly the reason he would consider leaving a side currently sat in the top 6. It's obvious.
  12. Nice to know the club is rotten all the way down to the effing stewards.
  13. Trying to ignore the impending implosion that's going to happen in the coming days, based on what I saw in the Wolves game today I'd be starting with this team against WBA: Pears Brittain Batth Hyam Beck Travis Buckley ACD Dennis Kargbo Gueye Cantwell, Dolan and Hedges should all be nowhere near the starting XI based on current form. Although ACD wasn't brilliant today, I'm sick to death of watching Dolan and Hedges put in poor performances.
