  1. Hopefully the cup game means opportunities for Ribeiro, Dennis, Kargbo and Woodrow to all get minutes and be in contention to play some part in this game, as another game with that same forward line is going to be pretty unbearable, particularly Hedges and Dolan out wide. Lord knows we need better options off the bench, as the last few games have shown we seem to be weaker after making changes. Sadly I think WBA will be well up for this, and with Armstrong likely to make his league debut for them I expect him to score. 3-1 defeat as we slip out of the top 6 again.
  2. Very strange appointment that. Doubt he'll be there next season if / when they go down to the National League. Sadly his biggest mistake was leaving Rovers really. Never got a fair crack at Man City either, but you can't argue with the fact that they replaced him with Mancini who won the title with them.
  3. Typically predictable result. Tuesday night away in London, in a fixture that was seemingly unnecessarily brought forward instead of pushed further back. I'm afraid JE got the subs wrong again last night, and bringing Forshaw and JRC on together when 2-1 down...well that just about sums it up. Not to mention the awful Hedges staying on until the 87th minute. There is a host of sides now forming a queue to push for the top 6, and Rovers look like they could easily drop to 12th or 13th in a couple of weeks. West Brom away next week....I just can't see anything other than a defeat in that one. Adam Armstrong absolutely nailed on to score. Hope I'm wrong.
  4. It makes him even more frustrating. Excellent penalty, clinical finish....if he could do that more in open play instead of faffing around so much then he'd be a top player at this level.
  5. Armstrong to West Brom on loan (if it has gone through) has to be the signing of deadline day. That kind of signing is a difference maker, and for a side that has struggled to score frequently this season, Armstrong you would expect will bring them goals.
  6. Glad I woke up to the news that Rovers didn't eff it up this time, although it's still pretty unclear what they're going to do regarding squad registration. Dennis is a higher calibre player, but time will tell if they can get him up to speed before the season runs out. I'm not expecting him to make an instant impact. Kargbo is hopefully one who surprises us all. As for the rest of the signings...lets face it, they're all squad fillers that gives us more options off the bench. Ribeiro is a decent pick up, but I wish it was a longer contract. Hopefully Woodrow prefers it up north and recaptures his Barnsley form.
  7. If Dennis signs then we're getting someone who can play across the forward line, gives us options and flexibility. The question will be is how match fit is the lad. Not kicked a ball since last season, what's that all about? Presumably he just didn't manage to get a move in the summer and has been stuck at Forest ever since.
  8. I should've added a laughing emoji on the end there to make it obvious I was taking the piss
  9. You have to say Waggott has outdone himself here, dragging Fabrizio Romano into his web of lies. Watch this deal collapse at the last minute.
  10. This is possibly worse than that Leeds deadline day from a good few years ago, when they tweeted out telling everyone to stay up til late, only to announce they'd sold fringe player Matt Smith to Fulham 😂
  11. Chaddy is quickly preparing his 'lets see where we are at in May' script 😂
  12. You have to love that at the start of the window all the noise from the club was that they wanted a striker who can come straight into the team with a proven track record of scoring goals, and we're going to end up with a striker who hasn't scored any this season. As mentioned previously, Woodrow last hit double figures in 2020/21 for Barnsley.
  13. It most certainly will be true. Club is a joke above JE's head.
  14. Can't wait to see how a certain someone spins Woodrow signing as a positive 😂
  15. His last 'good' season was with Barnsley in 2020/21 where he notched 12 league goals, 14 in all comps. Since then he's not managed more than 4 league goals in a season. Still, he's actually younger than I thought at 30 years old.
  16. If true that there is another player in for a medical this evening, it is pretty much guaranteed to be a young prem loan we've never heard of, or a cheap freebie like Cauley Woodrow as someone mentioned earlier. If it was actually decent signing that costs a fee then something would've likely leaked by now. Complete and utter shambles the way this club is run from above the head coach and playing staff. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a clown.
  17. Well he comes across confident that 2 more will be coming in. Ribeiro + one other
  18. Probably loan with option to buy...an option that we'll never take up.
  19. With it sounding like Ribeiro is done, a striker is simply a must now. Anything less and the window is a MASSIVE failure, no matter how some people may try and sugar coat it.
  20. It all feels very sombre this morning. Aside from the potential of a left back coming in, no real certainty over a striker. We'll be lucky if we get a Fleck type signing at this rate. Lucas João is available on a free. 😂
  21. Wholeheartedly agree on the striker....but I fully expect to be disappointed in that area.
  22. Maybe so but Eustace said himself after the Bristol City game that Beck has been struggling recently and that he wanted left back cover. That's good enough for me.
