  1. IF Venkys/Waggott/Pasha/etc were to make assurance to Eustaces, they would at least be forced into sorting out contracts for Travis, Tronstad, Brittain etc, and presumably also Eustace, which would likely have certain release clauses in place for if/when promises about finances are broken All of which would not need to wait until summer But the likelihood is that they will just accept the compensation and let him leave
  2. confirmed that Derby have approached Rovers by Sky Sports News just now
  3. Apparently he didn't play well vs Stockport last Sunday before being subbed off after an hour. But even if that is the case, unless he is ill/carrying an injury, it would seem harsh to drop him, considering he had scored and played well in the 2 games before that. He was subbed off at half time in the previous game vs Exeter (after a first half performance that included a goal and an assist) so maybe he is carrying something? That being said, I couldn't fault any of the Orient players performances yesterday,
  4. Would iPlayer work? either with or without a VPN? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0027znp If so then its free
  5. RE the bold bit I am sure he would have left even if he didn't already have a job lined up, but he had already been approached by Sweden. He was technically "out of work" for a couple of weeks
  6. U18s hammered Newcastle 5-1 (who included Finneran in their starting lineup) at their place U21s lost 3-1 at home to Man City
  7. Starts this weekend for Garrett - lost 2-0 - watched a stream of this one, Garrett was playing a box to box role on the left of a midfield 3 in a 5-3-2, he was booked for a late & wild tackle, also come close from a free kick from the edge of the box. Withdrawn after an hour with the score at 1-0. Tranmere had the best of the first half, but Salford kicked on after half time. Garrett made some nice touches and runs, but did not really influence what was for the hour I watched, a poor quality game. Tranmere conceded the 2nd as I was writing this, straight after he was subbed off. Tranmere forum members all have in the starting 11 for their next game too Batty - drew 0-0 O'Riordan - lost 3-0 Olson - won 3-1 Eastham - lost 2-0 Honor - won 2-0 Saadi - drew 0-0 On the bench Markanday - lost 2-1 Wood - won 4-1 - came on for the last 20 mins with the score at 3-0 Not involved in matchday squad Duru - won 3-0 - injured according to Barrow forum, went off injured last week vs Newport Goddard - drew 0-0 - presumably still injured Bell - lost 3-1 Mafoumbi - won 3-1 - I do wonder if this is a trial dressed up as a loan, with an eye towards offloading him in the summer No game this weekend Vale - next game is 15th Feb
  8. Would imagine so, judging by the team they put out against Derby, Orient seem to be going with their first choice team in the cup (Markanday signed for them the week after that game so wasn't involved then, but isn't cup tied)
  9. Barring (an incredibly unlikely) promotion to the Prem, I think you are right
  10. If this is anywhere near accurate, Derby fans will be terrified
  11. Fleck Had a fit and was taken to hospital after being named on the bench last night
  12. I agree with the AI, Forshaw adds nothing, in fact may actually be a detriment when on the pitch (maybe he takes the Fadz role in the dressing room/training/etc, but we don't see that). If we are stuck for midfielders beyond the first team squad, I would like to see Dunn, Edmondson etc given a few minutes over Forshaw. Having said that, I think, unless someone is out injured for the season, it will be Sigurdsson, window still open in numerous countries, including those in Scandinavia, and some sunnier destinations such as Turkey, UAE & USA Not sure about the logistics of this one, but a left field option may be Cozier-Duberry, not our player and cant see him getting many minutes now. Given his age, Brighton may fancy bringing him back and using him as part of their U21s (which I think they may be able to do despite the window being shut, he just couldn't be involved in their first team) rather than him just sitting on Rovers bench Looks like Jackson will try and find out this afternoon
  13. Thanks 🙂 I had a feeling that you would finish that job off for me and allow me to be a bit lazy 😉
  14. Just did a quick google and found this article, which states the following As per the EFL’s regulations, the squad lists will be published on their official website within seven days of the closure of the transfer window. That means it should be up before Monday night. Not sure if that means the EFLs official website, or the clubs official website
  15. Yes Although there is no limit to how many loanees you can have in the squad over a season (or at any one time), you can only have a max of 5 loan signings in any matchday squad. So would imagine it is something to do with that
  16. Highlights & Woods goal from last night
  17. report from last night https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/february/05/report--rovers-under-21s-1-2-athletic-bilbao-under-21s/
  18. Yes, and (albeit from a smaller sample size, and at at a lower level), he stood out more than Dunn for me (again, this is no dig at Dunn, I think he will be a fantastic player, I just saw more in Wharton), I will add the caveat that Dunn is a semi regular in the U21s at 16, Wharton wasn't, but I think this is more down to them coming through at different times, under different hierarchies, rather than being an indication on their ability
  19. Wood always looks decent and busy for me, but has struggled for minutes in both the Scottish 3rd tier at Annan and also now on loan at Radcliffe in the National League North. Will be interesting to see if Mafoumbi gets any game time in the Belgium 2nd tier
  20. how did we line up in the first half? Woodrow central & Dennis wide ? Both of them central? one as a 10?
  21. Well that's decided it, lets get young Dunn in the side to save our season 🙂
  22. Similar in style, but not quite Adam Wharton levels of good, which might mean we can keep him beyond his teens 😉 To clarify - I am not doing Dunn down in saying he isn't/wont be at Wharton's level, but Wharton was a generational talent, Dunn is still excellent, especially for 16 years old
