The man earns £300k a year and can't even afford fingers for his gloves?

Sorry lads it's my bad, the one day I go to the pub rather than stay at home and watch the game. Safe to say I'll be down the pub for every game for the reason of the season

A quality defender that can't win a header? Give it a rest! -

Southampton agreed a fee to sign a striker from Braga, surely Armstrong would be available on loan? -
Absolutely disgraceful performance tonight. No one worthy of the shirt other than maybe Hyam with a few good tackles stopping it from being 3 or 4. Travis couldn't even be arsed to look at the fans as he walked past after being subbed off. Feel for the few Chilean lads I saw at the game tonight having to travel back after that.

Think the the comments on Pickering are unfair, he's had a good game with Diaz not working back as much as usual and no support from the CMs. Been 2v1 down that side every time. -

Look way too slow on the ball, no movement in possession -

You do realise we only have two players on the pitch currently that were signed from league 1? Dack and Pickering. It's as if you're making out the whole team was signed from league 1🤦♂️ -

Poor goal to concede, our midfield looks too scared to close down or get stuck in -
Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?
Maphsa replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah I agree with this. His move to Wigan and his lack of game time there so far back this up. He's decent at this level, but doesn't look like he'll get any better than average championship level. -

Maphsa replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Obviously not, I didn't say that. I'm saying that his awareness and positioning was not what it should have been from a 'top player' at this level. You can play 'what is expected of you' whilst still doing the basics right. Nymabe didn't do this and I don't think you can put it directly down to the manager. Attacking-wise, I think he likely would have improved under JDT as I feel TM wasn't very good in this respect, but I definitely there was a lot more to be desired from him defensively than some make out. -

I don't post often, but I'll weigh in on the Nyambe debate. I feel he was a reasonable player at this level, but after 4 seasons he really didn't improve at all and I think we definitely needed to move on if we intend to improve. I think there's a very contrast view on here, with many rating him highly and others not. Personally, I think his positioning was awful defensively, but made up for it with his pace. I found he was often caught out of position, but was able to track back well enough sometimes to make up for it. This for me is the reason he didn't make a step up after leaving us and ended up at Wigan; top players don't often find themselves out of position like I felt Nyambe did. Going forward there was definitely a lot to be desired and I can't remember any successful crosses from him. Looking at some of the players now (I accept it's early on) but maybe it was TM that was holding him back; that certainly seems to be the case with Travis. Unfortunately we didn't get to see whether this was the case, but I definitely think Brittain is an upgrade and feel we're going in the right direction here. We definitely need a better back up than JRC at right back, but then he's a winger that's been shoehorned into the position. -

He played left back against bottom of the league on Friday and was worse there than Amari'i Bell. Lost the ball more times than he made a pass! -

Said it after the Swansea game, we are absolutely desperate for Dack back in this team. I know it's unlikely he'll be the same as he was, but he definitely won't have lost that positioning and vision he had -

Team is absolutely crying out for Dack. No one in the squad has the same spacial awareness as him and with Giles' crosses he'd have scored 10 tonight... -
