Confidence, it's as simple as that. You can have all the technique in the world and have 0 confidence and the performances will show. There's no doubting there's a player in there somewhere, he just needs a fresh start and new surroundings. He will be up against some of the worlds best in that league and will be an amazing experience nonetheless. If he gets his head down he could end up with a really good career out there.

Surely you just stick him on for 60 seconds at the end of the game regardless as it will free up the ESC slot and allow us to keep him for the u21's and then sign a senior 'foreign' player. I wouldn't be surprised if he was promised a WP when he signed and the club just forgot.

Exactly this point. The club knew the dangers of signing a young lad to take up an ESC slot. he shouldn't be shafted because of it. at least try and get a fee off a club instead of just ripping the contract up.
