  1. Sure someone posted here the other day that Rovers have beaten Oxford to a player. Now just seen that Herbie kane has rejected Oxford 🤔
  2. Regarding fleck he would of been advised if he would be able to carry on his career or not. Medical staff would of done vigorous tests. If he does manage to earn himself a contract then same injury reoccurs we really need to think if our current medical set up is good enough
  3. Owen wants to know what role he is in the pecking order. Good luck with that, Too many crap chiefs at Ewood already. Not a brain cell or capacity to communicate between them.
  4. LT article on striker options. Cannon mentioned again. Personally I wouldn't bother as he's had enquires from us before and chose different options. If a player doesn't jump at the chance to sign on loan then he's not for us.Harvey Elliot is a prime example of this. I feel you get the best out of them when they want to come. Opinions welcome
  5. A pundit has quoted 8m for Gally. Ipswich apparently tried with a 1.5m bid in January. They bid anywhere close to 2m he's gone
  6. I would rather the club not state if there's a healthy budget or not. There's fine margins to try stay ahead of the game with most championship clubs in the same predicament. If we go for cash bids or not, The process would be much easier if the club selling the player doesn't hold out for more knowing we have cash to spend. This club is so unpredictable, The club has cash coming from sales/clauses but doesn't mean it's available as the smokescreen from Pune is still above us with no one knowing exactly what's going on. Mowbray always stated cash is there for the right player and after Brererton signing il always hold hope as we are in a better place financially and well away from ffp
  7. You can take off swags yearly pay rise on that amount
  8. The problem was high intensity football with one day off for the players. With such a small squad it was inevitable that a lot of injuries would occur. Caused By a manager that wanted to leave. That was waggotts decision and a bad one.
  9. Already stated in first post. The owners need to get more involved. There needs to be consistency from top to bottom. Too much trust put on to the likes of pasha. Not a brain cell between them both
  10. Well they can start with asking waggott. He employed some of these people who have not been good enough. And the ones who were here before him did they feel they could not work under his conditions. Not good enough in bringing in good commercial deals and had to be bailed out by venkys sponsorship and losing assets in the process. But hey ho we had our pitch stitched for our bare minimum squad to play on, and a luxury coach to travel back in after losing games. Kept a manager who offered his resignation and dragged us down to fighting for our lives. Need any more examples? The guy is incompetent! Failed everywhere he's been
  11. Like I said before, in any normal organisation when 4 members of backroom staff leave/sacked questions would be asked to try pinpoint the main issue. We all know what it is but people with the authority are on the opposite side of the world
  12. Been over a week now and still no word on the scholars. There was a mention the other day about the nippers but that's it. Maybe they are waiting for this Irish lad to sign to replace the outgoing Finneran. In regards to JDTs son surely he would of been at scholars night and spotted by someone.
  13. I'm sure Broughton said that Dolan was in-between changing agents and that he was negotiating himself. We are very lucky that we tied down the ones we could. Can you blame any player for not wanting to extend at a club who's showing no ambition. Where they are being run to exhaustion because of a small playing squad
  14. Once again I rushed my post and did not put my point across. What are the benefits of having a cat 1 academy apart from being in the u18 s and 21s premier league. There should be more protection for our players if we are only going to lose them at the vital stage. Just read that it enables us to be able to bring in players nationally instead of the 90 minute ruling. So the likes of Wharton and Buckley, Travis would all fall within the 90 minute ruling so would of been eligible to be in our academy without cat 1 status
  15. Just frustrating that we pay for cat 1 status and still get best talent cherry picked. Personally I would rather spend the 1.5m on someone to add to the squad. Many clubs still get by without it
  16. Wonder if Jo savage is on his way to Rovers?
  17. Just read another article stating that Finneran could agree a pre pro contract agreement. Most cat 1 academy sides like Liverpool, spurs have limited there prospects to 40k per year.
  18. Finneran can only sign a scholar contract. So Newcastle can not pay above a certain amount. This ruling makes it equal across the board for all sides. They can not offer any incentives either like houses,Jobs, they will be under embargo if they do as these things are audited regular.
  19. Been asking questions all week on Finneran. Scholar night was last Friday and not one person has confirmed or posted if he turned up or not.
  20. Taken from Twitter, Not sure who he is but he's doing a podcast tomorrow
  21. Will these dark days ever end! Even the Almighty couldn't shine any light through the thick dark cloud of the venkys
  22. Everyone is jumping ship! Pity swag wasn't one of them. In another establishment questions would be asked why staff are moving on or being let go.
