  1. Just want to send my belated apologies to everyone for the result, I have only just gotten over it. Please feel free to enforce a permanent ban on my future attendance. Having said that, 13 is actually my lucky number...
  2. Hopefully that means they now have stock in then... incidentally both shirts I ordered were in stock at the time, it's no way to treat fans imo.
  3. I ordered the away and 3rd shirts and the away kids kit over a month ago online and still have nothing to show for it! Anybody else had any issues similar? I thought they would at least send out the adult shirts while awaiting stock of the kids kit which I believe is the hold up. £160 odd spent for nowt and the season ticks past...
  4. I'm up to Ewood for this one. I should however, declare my woeful record when going to see Rovers in the flesh. Played 11 won 0. It ends this weekend, surely my curse ends this weekend!?!? 🙏 Taking a Man Utd and a Newcastle fan with me - any recommendations for pubs/bars to go to for their games on TV after? John Bull 3 times for lunch already lined up, of course. 2-1 Rovers, JRC and Ennis
  5. I too watched the full replay and largely agree with the above, but I do feel Ennis put in a good performance considering his apparent fitness issues. He chased the ball down well, scored a nice goal with a good touch and turn to finish, took another good snapshot which was saved well and put a couple of decent balls into the danger zone. I'm cautiously optimistic about his chances here.
  6. Easily my favourite Rovers manager since Sparky. Guy just oozes class and charisma.
  7. It was a great game to watch and a very good performance by us. The identity that JDT came in to implement is clear and while there is always room to improve, this set of players are giving it their all to deliver the plan. My wife commented on how well we played, a very rare compliment from her so we must be doing something right lol. Made up for Leonard, he's got a lot of potential and while I will temper my expectations, I'm secretly hoping he can replace Brereton's goals. The lad gets in the right places and will put away chances once he settles down I'm sure. Markanday is being rewarded for his work off the ball and it's great to see him get his goal too. It will do a lot for his confidence and will show him what he can do if he continues to apply himself. Adam Wharton has phenomenal when we came on and then waned, but if we can get 35 games out of him this season he is going to cause a lot of problems for the opposition. Travis was fantastic today, if he can stay fresh he could really kick on to the next level this season in this team. Defensively we were great, Hyam was a rock amongst some big WBA players and Carter always impresses me and did so again today. Lovely performance, proud of the lads!
  8. If A Wharton is deemed unfit, my team would be: --------------------Kaminski Brittain--------Carter----Hyam----Pickering -----------------JRC----Tronstad --------------------Szmodics Markanday-------------------------------Dolan ----------------------Leonard Desperately hoping that Leonard can help us and I think a goal early into the season for him could set him up for a decent contribution this season.
  9. Any idea if we are getting a 3rd kit reveal today or soon?
  10. I've clearly now seen too many interviews with JDT, as in a meeting this morning I used "in that way". I hope I came across as well as he does, but not sure I did...in that way.
  11. Tried ordering online at 11.01 and my size is apparently out of stock 👌
  12. Agreed, seems like an easy win missed it those are real.
  13. I have a feeling they will, at least twice, this season.
  14. I'd be interested, am in Hampshire not London but it would be great to be in a community with some local-ish Rovers fans...it gets lonely being a Rover down here!
  15. All a bit skewed towards who has played the most minutes that though isn't it? % would paint a clearer picture in a lot of instances. Not arguing that BBD isn't a key player for us mind...
  16. One of my favourites for sure. Energy, skill, determination and agility. Or, arte et labore. Keep it up Sammy lad.
  17. I think it's a symptom of the fact that footballers don't stay with one club for long periods of time anymore if they can get a better deal in a more competitive side. There's little point buying an annual Rovers calendar as our star player probably won't be here by the end of the year. This is where the detached language stems from imo.
  18. The only stat that matters is how many points we have. That along with what you see with your eyes tells you the correct story. We're right up there and as others have said, we're playing very well (this last couple of months). We have a great chance to make it 6 wins on the bounce today. Clearly we'll drop points sooner or later but we should fear nobody right now.
  19. Think this is worth a bump. I've been super critical of Sam through the bulk of this season, all the physical attributes were there but very little quality or instinct was displayed. However, since his couple of goals at QPR the lad has been very good and turned things around brilliantly. Suddenly he is winning the bulk of headers, giving us a genuine out option instead of always playing it around at the back. I've noticed JRC and Pickering really utilising this and that must stem from the extra confidence that they have in Sam right now. He's making himself a handful, freeing up space for others and that coupled with his workrate (which has always been there) means we have a very good striker for this division. He's linking up well with those around him and for me deserves a starting spot ahead of the likes of BBD and Dacky while he plays like this. Fairplay for the turnaround Sam!
  20. Question is, do we want him for the half dozen or so games that he'll likely be fit enough to play now that the £10mil promo clause might end up being activated after all...
  21. Great result and many great performances. It's been said, many times, but Gallagher is literally unbelievably bad isn't he...
