  1. I don't care about the result. I'm a performance based fan. This is shite. Again.
  2. I'm seriously annoyed with you all for getting the young boy at right back injured. Please just let Tony manage. 🥴
  3. Tony doesn't do formations so maybe he doesn't see the need for training either? Sarcasm aside, this is concerning.
  4. For me Berg did not tarnish his reputation. He tried his best under very difficult circumstances and failed. But there was some hope early on that had our luck been different, well it could have been a different story. Any club legend that comes in as gaffer keeps their status, unless they scrape the levels of Kean and Coyle. Mowbray is on a different level, I see him as an old stubborn man out of his depth and past the times. He needs to be put out of his misery but nobody is gonna do it, so he plods along falling ever further into madness.
  5. How can they have an identity when the gaffer has only been there a matter of months?
  6. Apathy is the way while Mowbray and the Vs remain. Problem is, there's probably no coming back once you get there...
  7. All really good points. Today it hit me seeing all the posts saying we need to welcome them back with open arms. I need to move on and away as I'll never forgive.
  8. The Facebook supporters pages are excruciating in their support for Venkys aren't they? How short memories are. I don't live in the area so am not exposed to fellow supporters regularly, but the love in is shameful!
  9. Feels great to do that to Luton after their antics. The drop ball happened because their player faked being hit in the head and the ref couldn't risk not stopping play for a head injury. Proper karma that and it makes the victory all the sweeter.
  10. His positioning had been poor on many occasions in his 3 apps. Spotted it several times today and of course during his debut. Crap goalie.
  11. Nevertheless I've never seen such an incompetent display in the 2 games I've seen him referee. Shambles.
  12. This ref is an embarrassment to the game with blatent bias shown in the Luton game and now this. I can't believe this won't be looked into, it's blatant. Ref really is an absolute wanker.
  13. - - - - - - - -Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Ayala Downing - - - - Elliot Trybull Rothwell - - - Brereton Dack Armstrong
  14. Personally I am surprised to see Johnson at Cb instead of Nyambe, but then we're also short of options at Rb. I can't call this one. I felt we've started this season very well without just reward. However, the longer that has gone on the more I have doubted our bad luck and considered it to be a systematic lack of quality or concentration when required. The midweek game was a killer, I saw no hope in how we played so couldn't even say we were unlucky anymore. But we won, and win today and things look up again. Coyb!!!
  15. This has been dire stuff. I've felt we've been unlucky most the time this season but I've lost the faith now. Edit: Buzzing we've won it mind!
  16. Rothwell doesn't deserve to be dropped on merit but it's a long season and he'll be great off the bench. Shame for Wharton to be out through injury, but a chance for Ayala to show us what he is about. All in all, strong lineup and looking forward to the match.
  17. Never been so livid with a "referee" in my life. Shameful. What's his name? Edit: Gavin Ward. Hope he's not reffing another of our games again this season.
  18. Yeah when I saw he was starting I instantly felt we had more of a chance. Great to have that feeling about a gk which I haven't had for a while. His composure has been excellent so far and he oozes confidence.
  19. I hope that's not the good news team? No predictions today. Such promise at the start of the season has evaporated for many reasons. I hope we can find a way to get 3 points and use the international break to get back on track. We have the players, but it's not happening so far.
  20. JRC has a place in this side but not at right back. He played some great balls in so maybe the right side of the front three? Lenihan needs some time out, no doubt about it. Inept today and streaky at the best of times. We definitely missed Kaminski, Pears was positionally at fault for the first goal but did make a great reflex save off of Williams. Mowbray needs to look at sorting this defence out, quickly. We're playing the best football I've seen us play in a long time, but we look so exposed at the back it's all for nowt.
  21. I'm done with Evans. Very disappointed to see him starting. Great if he proves me wrong today but after several seasons I've made my mind up. Hope we get a result despite his inclusion which I feel will be detrimental to our midfield performance.
  22. Agreed. His talent was clear to see yesterday. First time I've properly watched him play and glad the quality seems to match the hype around him. Seems to be able to both dribble well and make intelligent passes which is a dangerous combo. I wonder if he could also play in the midfield 3 for certain games - on first sight he could well do the job Rothwell does when needed.
