Both ages are gonna suffer a bit this season key undrr 21s moving up to first team or loaned out meaning under 18s stepping up to fill the void will play a part, also meaning those who would be key in the 18s are with the 21s making the 18s raw to that age group nature if academy football you can be shit hot one year the next poor cause of the quick turnover in players, although it’s common under Sheron for slow starts then improve rapidly it seems, probes plays a part in why the 21s are in 5/6 competitions to get the minutes out and the younger ones some experience at the higher level to settle them quicker. obviously these levels are about development but some silver would have been nice by now to show for it, over last decade or so both age groups have reached finals and high league positions. At acct other week against Lyon the 21s despite losing 2-0 were worthy of the win

I’m Blackburn born and bred, went to school in brig though, rovers fans out numbered Preston heavily but throughout my high school days 2006-2011 Preston weee non entity to us, later years the plastic United and Liverpool fans decided to start supporting Preston aswell which contributed to my growing dislike for north end as they was fickle and irritating, remember in 2010 rovers played a friendly against a strong pne at the time as they just got them loans in from United as junior fergie had just got Preston job recently and they beat a half rovers cause of another friendly the next day which the other half was playing in 3-0 and by god you’d have thought it was an fa cup game they went on… ironically they ended up relegated to l1 that coming season. one of them in particular used to switch between a Liverpool and pne scarf whenever it suited him best and Preston fans are well known for being plastic 2 team wankers yet have the audacity to call us plastics out of bitterness cause we took fans off them. I now live in Preston just up the road from deepdale down blackpool road I have worked in Preston for the last 5 years non stop despite doing work in Blackpool for a spell inbetween so have come to really find out how irritating knobbers are, they think they are something they ain’t, one win and it’s all roses for them until the next defeat, they are a lot more fickle than any rovers fan for sure.
