  1. Totally agree, 21/22 was terrible losing to morecambe in the league cup first round and Wigan in the fa cup and Mowbray not giving two shits
  2. Hilton brattain Wharton Barnes batty Wharton Buckley Hedges Gilsenan Dolan Leanord some minutes in the legs for some plus hedges and Dolan in need of a boost to get some form as they have been the worst performers plus leanord needs to stay on form so a goal or 3 would do him good
  3. Least I can get Stockport ticked off now, girona are a good side too remember beijg impressed with them last time in 2016
  4. We played espanyol, New Zealand, Breda etc since
  5. It’s not as easy at that maybe they don’t wanna host a championship team ? Also it’s not s out a holiday for the fans.. it’s about preparation and we want a decent home friendly
  6. I like the idea of back to back days, I suppose he’s gonna split the squad into two, I used to like it when we played two teams at one ground, we played Stanley and Morecambe one year then Stanley and fleetwood then a mini tournament at morecambe against them and bury
  7. Right on, one thing is I love about pre season is local matches in good weather or even games over in Scotland, did Kilmarnock, hibs and rangers but Celtic I couldn’t due to my ex employers being pricks not letting me off despite notice
  8. Yes but the article was from today and it states depending on relegation and promotion
  9. Blackpool already confirmed down
  10. Reading between the lines on todays lancs telegraph article which involves pre season.. it’s stated some of rovers pre season games lined up depends on weather we are in the same league from relegation or promotion , so reading between those lines it looks like Leeds or wolves and Bolton
  11. Jrc showed it before that though
  12. Nah vale is far from good enough and is at an age now, he’s more suited to l1 at best
  13. Yeah always said we should look to send players on loan there but at the same time they need to suit those players, we want our lads playing good football but wouldn’t be so bad for leanord to go to l2 and toughen up plus get a taste for goals in the big boy leagues, Phillips and garret we should be looking at a top half l1 club
  14. Yeap! Gone are the days of big clubs visiting lower league local sides, thing is they are gonna get a better test than flying to the other end of the world to to play the same teams they play in Europe or the prem or even some shite mls team, then they have the audacity to complain in winter that they need a break, they use pre season as a money maker which is loose change anyway than what’s it’s really about, not to mention the boost it will give lower league clubs in gate receipts, plus a lower league club getting a positive result will be a big confidence booster for them. Imagine we get city down at ewood ? Haaland alone woukd attract the extra fans especially kids who look up to him. Last time we had a big home pre season game was when we got Liverpool down and it was a fantastic atmosphere too
  15. Season wrapped up means in the next few weeks the pre season schedule should be coming to light. anyone heard of anything so far ? As expected I believe they will be heading to Spain or something on a weeks training camp, would like to see us play accy Stanley again, matches against Stockport and salfird would be good tests, hopefully a trip to Scotland again too
  16. Instead in the middle it’s filled with prawn sandwich of anything, in fact the bbe loser should be safe standing entirely
  17. Not really look at deepdale and wba ? The roofs meet and you can add upstairs boxes, facilities etc above the seating
  18. Rather not have an empty stand completely but one day I hope to see it replaced with a 2.5k new stand matching the other three
  19. Totally agree, when the Blackburn end is filled and in voice it’s brilliant, both ends of the Blackburn end stand so I don’t see why no1 and no2 can’t be made dedicated singing sections, too many in bbe are more suited to jw or riverside, need to get those at the other end of the bbe in with the no1/no2 if possible. yes agree again end blocks of the riverside (darwen end side) and jw need sectioning off, I also don’t understand why there is a small group of lads in that jw corner with a drum that could be getting bbe going ? It’s embarrassing too and it’s having no positive effect either, a singing/standing section with flags etc needs to be brought in and pushed across by fans
  20. The surround system that plays the music sounds horrid too, but I agree with everything you said there
  21. What I really can’t understand is why the riverside ain’t a cheap option stand, 379 for most areas is still expensive, once again waggot to understanding the geographical side, Blackburn is a small deprived town with more than its fair share of glory hunters yet the club does so little to help that, there will be many rovers fans who can’t afford a season ticket full stop or can’t get finance, the idea of making the riverside same price was to tempt them over to the Jack Walker lower instead to fill it up for the cameras, even then most views in those data are poor unless you are more central and higher up, riverside should be the budget stand, why not give fans the option ? 300 quid for a season ticket there ? It may just mean those who can’t afford a season ticket may just be able too ? The stand is an eyesore anyway and the thousands of empty seats make it worse, it holds nearly 6k yet it’s more than half empty so how many season tickets holders does it have ? Plus make match day prices cheaper for that stand too ? The club lacks initiative, somebody mentioned the poor catering standards which is correct but also the club shop is crap nowadays, poor stock levels, the leisure wear is poor plus other unofficial merchandises, they should be kitting the place out with more retro shirts that are timeless and sell all year long plus dvds if the good years gone by etc
  22. Prestons is worse, pies and hotdogs are minging plus drinks not served cold and only sugar free
  23. Exactly l, people have Mowbray years and he had strong teams especially last season. Jdt deserves another season, he’d still learning the game over here too, we are a new fjrward line from being a serious top 6 contender it’s harsh to judge otherwise sigh the limited resources
  24. Are you for real ? Not as if jdt has a strong squad is it ? Mowbray left this team a mess
