  1. ainsworth has other matters on his mind at the moment, namely a play off final, carvalhal did very well at sheff wed, they played some good stuff and arguably he was unlucky not to get them up,unfortunately they gambled everything on getting to the premier league and in the end it nearly saw the club off
  2. they were most likely disapointed at him spending their money and being in the same place we were 5 seasons ago,i don`t think venkys are as abscent as believed, like us they were fed up of the journey to nowhere
  3. pressure back on our neighbours🙂,can`t see them getting anything at villa,it will go down to the last match imo, dingles at home against newcastle, leeds away at brentford
  4. thought they would up their game being at home against a team with nothing to play for, they really are a terrible side,i think the dingles are safe😒
  5. 10 minutes ago i was feeling slightly guilty about sticking up for leeds(a horrible club who i despise and always have ),the guilt has now gone,MARCHING ON TOGETHER,WE ALL SING THE LEEDS🤣
  6. my point was forget about the video replay, let the ref decide on what he saw in realtime, thats what he`s there
  7. var is load of b*****s and should only be used for goal line incidents and bad fouls, let the ref decide the decisions not some bloke in a suit lounging around a studio
  8. spurs 1-0,it`s up to leeds now😅,no chance of burnley getting back in this one imo
  9. did`nt he serious back problems which kept him out for a long time, that could explain his lack of fitness,he honestly does look shattered after 15 minutes,if your back is ****** when you ar`nt going to play effectively at football league level
  10. mowbray never gave davenport a chance,it was clear he did`nt rate him, whenever he did appear he did an ok job,id`e keep him on,he could flourish under a progressive manager i don`t think butterworth is going to make it,he looks continually unfit and whenever iv`e seen him he`s labouring after 15 minutes, let him go along with magloire,i don`t think either of them have a future at this level
  11. bloody criminal imo, though we might have struggled with forest, the other three are easily beatable,at the risk of repeating myself, tony threw it away in january not signing a centre forward
  12. i also had a pleasant dream that our new manager played with two flying wingers supplying a reborn gallagher with a steady stream of quality balls, suddenly he became the most deadly striker outside the premier league, his impact was such that he earned a big money move to newcastle, unfortunately for big sam,as soon as he landed in the north east, eddie howe resigned for family reasons and mowbray was appointed,he was back on the wing first game under tony🙂
  13. i don`t get the hype for arteta,he`s developed arsenal into a team of flat track bullies and he`s not capable of taking them any further imo,🤣 like watching a good old derby destruction
  14. im`e so glad to be rid of mowbray and his square peg in round hole system,i`ll welcome almost anybody
  15. leeds paid 25 million quid for him, which was a complete ****** joke,he can run fast but can`t do much else🙂
  16. exactly my thoughts, wycombe have nothing to be scared off
  17. good player, getting to the veteran stage now,to say we can`t afford his wages when he plays for sheff wed,who are completely brassic and a division below us is a bit of a daft claim,i did hear there was a lad at chorley who has a big future,we could`nt afford his wages apparently😁
  18. hughton is to much like mowbray for me,plays the same conservative way,has always worked on a pretty big budget as well, which he is`nt getting here,he has however got a better track record than moggadon and is`nt as miserable as our tony either, not an appointment to get excited about but far from the worst
  19. lol,if anybody is watching the game, everyone is basically kicking lumps out of each other, evans is dawdling around the centre circle doing a lot of pointing but not much else, absolute stealer of a living that bloke
  20. he did come across as completely indifferent a lot of the time, judging by some of the performances over the last five years,it came across in the players as well, barring a good few months this season, the whole 4 years in the championship has been underwhelming, the journey was never coming to fruition in my eyes
  21. as long as we win games im`e not bothered about the excitement, would be nice but winning comes first, those wycombe lads love playing for him you can tell, whether he can galvanise better players to the sort of commitment they showed tonight is a risk, but i think it`s a risk worth taking, ainsworth himself comes across as charasmatic and full of enthuisasm,it`s what we need imo
