  1. thats a good point and scarily quite possible,i don`t see swag urging them to get it sorted quickly either, unless they are intent on keeping the job in house, johnson or venus, who since the derby 1st half debacle has become visably more involved
  2. i always wish misfortune on burnley but i would love everton to go down, especially after having spent nigh on half a billion quid on various players are frankly shite, vastly overrated frank "i played for england and therefore i am a great manager"lampard`s reputation will also take a dive😅
  3. if you play a settled system everyone gets to know their job,as long as you have all eleven putting 100% as a fan you can`t complain, mowbray obviously does`nt adhere to this, did ferguson change the way man utd played week by week, does klopp look at the opposition,**** himself and change the system,no they go out and play the same way every week, drives me ****** nuts when i see the the line up every week, seriously,i`ll be off watching accy stanley or chorley if mowbray is still here next season,we should have been virtually guaranteed in the play offs by now
  4. to be fair to him he did have a decent game, gave their full back a lot of problems,i can see where you are coming from though, massively overpriced for what you get,we could have got someone from the lower leagues to do what he does, probably better as well as cheaper
  5. we would`nt have been in any trouble if mowbray had`nt started with a team shape that was footballing suicide, credit to him if he changed it half time but this has happened dozens of times,i don`t care what level you play at,you can`t just play for 45 minutes and expect to get wins
  6. nyambe was injured,by the end he could barely walk, should have been taken off,as you quite rightly point out, gallagher was asleep and did`nt see the danger
  7. bloke stood next to me yesterday was adamant that mowbray is going to stoke next year,iv`e heard a few other rumours about it as well, ffs please let it be true,i don`t think i can put up with another 3 seasons of him
  8. who knows what went on,tony certainly did`nt do **** all at half time in the derby game and for 20 minutes of the second half today he sat on his backside,it was venus doing the organising, tony only got up when it got a big feisty
  9. the first half from us would`nt be out of place on pleasington sunday morning,it was shockingly bad, everyone blaming each other and head shaking from everyone whoever sorted it out at half time deserves plaudits, who would have thought putting everyone in their best positions would actually work out well!!!!! im`e of the opinion the standard of officiating in this country is absolutely shocking, the ref was waving play on for genuine fouls and blowing his whistle for genuine tackles,he was equally bad for both sides
  10. have you been watching for the last 2 months!!!!,barring the 2nd half against derby(where the lads took control of the situation themselves) we`ve been exactly like last season
  11. he`s an honest guy sure enough though his arrogant attitude about his own tactical prowess is why we are struggling, fantastic run of games but he reverts to type and back comes the possesion based **** that got us two wins in seventeen last season
  12. no he has`nt,he was played further forwards during our good run with buckley dropping back to cover with travis and vice versa, one of the main reasons we looked decent,he`s been **** since mowbray reverted back to type and has him collecting the ball from the centre backs, thats because it`s not his forte,no wonder he won`t sign a new deal tbh
  13. rothwell holding the midfield with travis,he`s at the wrong end of the pitch
  14. ironic that atkins under mackay and sherwood under kenny got absolute dogs abuse, they then turned into vital pieces of the title winning team, maybe if we start giving gallagher the type of abuse we used to dole out he might turn out to be 20 goals a season man😊
  15. he did`nt feature at all after the port vale game,kk took him out of the firing line as he was so far off the pace ,i remember the barnsley and port vale games,he was so bad it looked like they`de picked a fan out of the crowd and given him a game
  16. we were thoroughly depressed after the game,i did despise that leicester side, they were nothing but a bunch of long ball merchants led by that thug steve walsh and the lanky **** ian ormandroyd, for reasons that are unfathomable,we ended up getting plastered in the moorings minus our usual joviality🤔
  17. i think teams started to bully us a bit and found us out,i can recall barnsley, port vale and leicester were all big sides and they just overpowered us,newell getting injured was a massive blow as well absolutely zero similarites to today, kenny and ray did`nt panic, there was no ridiculous positional changes and despite losing 6 games in a row we did actually play quite well in them, there was only barnsley and port vale that were truly bad,if you look in the present, looking in the present,we don`t look like scoring, which is sort of a big problem if you want to get in the play offs!!! the major difference between then and now is if you look back at the vital plymouth game, would you be confident of a win under the mowbray regime???
  18. id`e try it in the 2nd half for 1/2 hour i don`t think dack or ben are ready for 90 minutes yet,but yeah, the attacking side of it appeals to me,i predict the old false nine will present on saturday though😒
  19. van hecke is already a class act,id`e be offering brighton brereton, dolan and anything else they wanted to get him,he`s going right to the top and if we somehow manage to sign him he`s going to bring in a monster fee a few years down the line, hopefully brightons scouts have forgotten about him😊
  20. iv`e got a ticket for saturday, but feel unwhelmed and not to bothered about going,id`e normally be buzzing,we are in a play off spot so i should be really looking forwards to it,mowbray has reduced me to a shadow of my former supporting self🙂😥,what have we got to look forward to ,90 minutes of sideways nothingness with the hope coventry don`t score, pretty certain we won`t,prediction is a soulless 0-0 cited as a triumph and a good point by his legions of happy clappers, the rest of us just shake our heads as we fall out of the play off race🤣
  21. By his own words he was offered big money after promotion to try for the double bounce and by his own words he declined it. He then spent 6.5 million on a young project signing that has taken 3 seasons to bear fruit. Then he'll be sold probably despite these owners offering him a double or treble your wages contract i was`nt aware of that, though it does explain that tony has lived in a comfort zone here from the moment he stepped through the door, only slight bit of pressure he faces is the occasional murmur of discontent from the scattering of "disloyal fans" imagine he does sign a new deal and suddenly venkys announce they are coming over and taking complete control of running the club, move over maggot your sacked, tony, here`s 200 million quid,**** the ffp get us promoted, money no object, his face would drop like a russian tank commander facing an nlaw rocket,it would be ******* hilarious,he`d be stuttering though his press conferences, snapping at everyone because the pressure would be right on him,i don`t think he`d last 3 months before it got to him purely hypothetical the above but it would be funny seeing his character change when he spent the money and still had us set up like the disorganised mess we are now,he`d probably sign mitrovic from fulham then put him out wide
  22. i watch a fair bit of scottish football and hedges at aberdeen was,to put it nicely, not very good, that was in his best position of right midfield as well,if he can`t cut it scotland, then he certainly is`nt going to make an impression in the extremely competetive championship with mowbray playing him out of position,a very strange signing indeed, suspiciously strange imo if signings like this are going to become the norm and a mogadon extension potentially looming i don`t think i`ll be the only one struggling to motivate my interest for next season😪
  23. i 100% agree, even if it`s just a half, mowbray is going to appear pretty silly if big ben can play for chile but not for us,can`t see it happening,we`ll be hindered by buckley as a "false nine" no doubt
  24. i dare not think about the season ticket sales if mowbray gets a new contract,it could possibly be the lowest in our history😰
  25. when i was younger, every policeman was 6 foot tall,4 foot wide and looked extremely menacing, have they stopped the minimum height restrictions???
