  1. who`d have thought the likes of provincial tinpot clubs like bournemouth and brentford would ever get to the top flight and clubs like sheff wed, west brom, birmingham, derby and portsmouth are somewhat floundering🙄
  2. fair point but tugay was never in the best of shape fitness wise and he was 31 when he landed here, souness and hughes understood he did`nt need to do any hard work just sit in space and direct the passes, wharton on the front end of midfield would be dynamite, defences will quake with fear when his left foot disects their line🙂
  3. gary monk, mick mccarthy, scott parker, chris powell, gary megson names from the "please don`t give them the job list"
  4. for the killer/final ball,he`d open up defences ,provided we a centre forward who could read him that is,no good putting gallagher there he just would`nt click where the pass was going
  5. yes,but only because jdt was`nt in work and was available, god alone knows who we could have ended up with, all the credible candidates turned us down
  6. i would`nt trust greg to find me ice in the arctic, then again we don`t have to worry jdt is going nowhere for the time being
  7. you watch some players and immediately see they are a bit special,if we can get adam a bit further up the pitch next season we`ll have every big club in europe knocking on our door, got to build the team round him imo
  8. swag just jumped off his couch in delight at the thought of 8000 leeds fans at ewood next year
  9. thats the other side of big sam, score a goal and sit back on your penalty spot, recipe for disaster imo
  10. leeds thoroughly buying into the big sam philosophy,no messing around, get it straight into the box from a set piece, bravo,it`s 0-1
  11. spurs have reopened talks with nagelsman and feeyenoord are negotiating with arnie slot over a new contract, jdt going nowhere this season, though if he was going he`d have left after the millwall game,i think he`s currently on holiday
  12. he thinks he`s bertie big b*****s,he`s right and everyone else is wrong
  13. he made mistakes because he had two converted midfielders in front of him as centre backs(mulgrew could`nt cope and rodwell was`nt interested)any keeper would be helpless in that situation, every time a set piece came across there was mass panic, raya could`nt trust his two defenders
  14. yes,not sure of the percentage
  15. there are morons out there who believe that pretty passing that goes sideways continually is the right way to play football, they then express outrage when another team brutally exposes them with a more robust approach,it`s forgotten that the game is about getting 3 points, the russell martins of this world are deluded dreamers
  16. that is one of the worst managerial appointments ever, you have to feel for southampton fans
  17. nathan tella not coming back????probably glad to be back in civilisation
  18. aye i think so,rather stupidly they did`nt inform the league and just decided not to bother turning up😄,brian robson was rather annoyed i think, especially at the end of the season they were relegated
  19. well done wednesday i hope they win the final, always liked going to hillsboro not sure about the daft pitch invasion, they hav`nt won anything yet
  20. wednesday score again, this is some game!!!
  21. this is when the **** will happen, giving tony a lot of money is`nt the smartest idea😆
  22. he was absolute class ayala,a premiership player in a lower league, though to be blunt whats the point of it when he was injured most of the time, definately the right decision to let him go
  23. southampton board must be on some kind of mind bending drugs to appoint russell martin
  24. boro were terrible, they never really gave it a go,hoping luton do the business now
