big sams football was effective and came with a game plan,jdt plays nothing football and it`s not effective(before anyone starts that we are in the play offs,we all know it is`nt going to last,barring a miracle and 4 good players)

i think both wharton and carter are two very solid defenders,just because they are not the most gifted on the ball some on here take exeption

i honestly think you could buy a centre forward from the conference north and they`de give you more than hirst or vale,i have never seen two centre forwards do less than those two

we were watching a different game,rathbone and his colleagues absolutely dominated us by getting in our faces and competing,we were never strong enough physically or mentally to take on the challenge,pathetically,our so called superior players were beaten by a bunch of lower league journeymen

id`e rather have butterworth over vale,at least he runs about like a madman and puts himself about,he might be knackered after 30 minutes but at least he does work

he was loaned to halifax,barrow and rochdale and did`nt impress either,it makes it worse when he does`nt appear to be particularly interested,if you lack the technical ability at least make up for it with energy and enthusiasm,paul dickov was never the best footballer but he made up for it with sheer effort,the fans used to love him for it

we did`nt expect the play offs this year but we certainly did`nt think the football would be this bad,jdt makes mowbray look progressive.it`s a project that will be miserable imo

personally i think the "project" is a shambles,we`ve played well twice this season watford and blackpool,the rest has been horrible and dull,you can`t play football like this if you hav`nt got the personel
