  1. really?how do you explain his behaviour at times last year,on the touchline and in the press, unless someone had injected him with largactil he was virtually one of the cardboard cut outs,he did`nt show any traits of a manager or a leader of men,it was disgraceful behaviour from someone earning upwards of £300,000 a year and thats a conservate estimate
  2. he`s stringing his job out because it`s easy money for him,his mate is the chairman so he`s under no pressure, the bloke knows exactly what he`s doing,i would`nt be surprised if venkys told him you can have all the armstrong money to spend on new players but he`s told us different because he just wants to stroll along with no intention of getting up the table, this makes him worse than kean, coyle or ince imo,we`ll only get shut of him if venkys suddenly decide to take an interest or he wants to retire, i really do despise him and his so called honourable intentions
  3. you can`t argue that venkys hav`nt backed mowbray on his legendary journey to nowhere,i suggest however that unless he wants abuse of the highest order on his next visit,he sacks the useless, gurning fool masquerading as a manager
  4. they must have changed tack by the early 90`s,i got tied to a pallet and dumped in a skip😀
  5. i think your being a tad harsh on him,you could say the same about gallagher, rothwell, brereton and lenihan, judging by their performances last season,i happen to think all the above have potential to improve, but if your being managed by a pillock without one iota of man management skill, continually being played out of position in a system that does`nt benefit your skill set you are going to look pretty bad
  6. holy **** that really brings it home how weak our squad is,as a betting man 9/1 for relegation is massive value,i figure they owe me something for the last 10 years,so im`e whacking some money on it
  7. aye, something like that,he would also insist on practising set pieces as well which would`nt please tony,a definate bad influence
  8. don`t think he`d get on with tony,he can dribble and always passes it forwards, don`t need any of those flashy attributes in mowbrays dressing room🙂
  9. if we can possibly get 25 million quid for him it would be a superb deal,i doubted very much soton would pay that, though this is the money crazy premier league after all
  10. what i fear as well, should`nt be putting a raw, young lad up front on his own,it will no doubt end up not working, dolans confidence will be shredded and to top it all, mowbray will start criticising him in the press
  11. be interesting to see who tony plays up front if/when armstrong departs, will his wide striker experiment continue or will he do something radical like play his centre forwards where they are supposed to play
  12. id`e say a manager who was normal would panic at the state of the midfield and make it his first priority, relying on johnson, davenport, buckley, rothwell and a 50% fit travis in the middle of the park is not a good prospect, the more basic teams in the division, who we need to beat to stay up will brush us aside,we need help from a higher source this season🙏
  13. it`s up to us to negotiate and maybe compromise on the price a bit, maybe get soton to thrown in a player as well, who does the transfer dealing at rovers these days???is there anybody in attendence to answer the phone or check the emails
  14. more than likely he got ***** off because we would`nt pay for scouting trips,i heard it`s all done by spotty teenagers on football manager,i don`t believe any excuses that come from the club
  15. sorry to be blunt but he`s never fit,he`s been a fat, useless waste of time and money since the day he signed,i thought it was an impressive signing when announced,i realised 5 games in he was just here for one last big contract, the bloke is a disinterested disgrace who would have been released under a proper manager
  16. rovers to start impressively with an 80% possession stat after hour an hour, unfortunately and predictably we don`t score and concede off a set piece just before half time, thats all she wrote and swansea triumph with 0-1 victory without actually doing anything, groundhog day at ewood innit!!,wide strikers bumbling about the flanks, lots of pointless passes, our manager sat on his arris and multiple substitutions after 70 minutes oh and tony claiming we played well 🙄
  17. losing your head physio, reserve team manager, head groundsman, academy recruitment chief all within a few months is`nt normal, unless there are plans to downsize or the club is on it`s last legs, the club doctor, the tea ladies, the laundry staff and the canteen chef will be next to decamp!!!soon there won`t be any half time oranges either
  18. maybe venkys have pulled the plug, are leaving us to our fate and admistration beckons??
  19. kean was a clueless chancer who drew considerable venom, mowbray is`nt an idiot,he knows what he`s doing and he`s hanging on to his considerable wages despite his time being up,i think he`ll be in for some terrible abuse as if expected we end up struggling, fans can see through him and the only way to get shut is to wound his considerable vanity,he gets sniffy if the telegraph dare to question him(rarely i may add) a couple of thousand irate fan bellowing at him will tip him over the edge, can`t do anything about the happy clappers, there are some fans who`d still be blindly content if rovers sold the ground and shared turf moor
  20. in the long term it would be the best thing to happen, there is no future at all with venkys, moggasaurous and swag, there will always be a rovers, whatever division we happen to end up in
  21. he got rushed back from injury last season when it was clear he was`nt ready to start,i don`t think he`s ever recovered,he can`t seem to turn quickly anymore and though he was never quick he`s definately struggling over a couple of yards when closing the opposition down
  22. i could`nt agree more,i honestly think swag and mowbray persauded venkys that they could run the club and they could be trusted thus venkys took a back seat, all went well with promotion, albeit being very well backed,it started to unravel when it was clear tony is`nt a good enough coach or manager to make an impression in the championship and he wasted lots of money on stupid signings and big wages for players who he then could`nt get the best out of,now he`s released them there is`nt any money to replace them
  23. judging by the walk on prices it will appear there is a boycott going on🙂
