  1. would be a very welcome appointment, lets hope he gets some financial backing
  2. yes, thats what is annoying, blackburn rovers outplayed by bloody bournemouth,a nondescript tiny club in a town where old people go to retire, would`nt be so bad if we`d been humbled by a proper football town
  3. ***** joke, what is it with tinpot clubs???brentford and bournemouth in the top flight???while sheff wed and sunderland are in league one, forest green and mk dons will be next to ride the **** club express to the top flight, absolutely mental
  4. venus is at swags table, tony is sat on his own, sulking, lowe and benson are on the dancefloor embracing to spandau ballets true
  5. half time in the bournemouth forest game forest the better side and have had the best chances, they must have been watching how diaz got behind the bournemouth defence quite a few times on saturday, they`ve done it numerous times tonight and have should have scored, bournemouths little ground btw looks the least intimidating stadium in the whole world🙂
  6. whats happened to ash phillips, has he gone to fight the russians or been kidnapped by the taliban, seems to have vanished
  7. you`ll only get fans back by playing winning football with competetive prices,we`ve had neither for 12 years with added terrible owners,it`s no wonder people have walked away, the next manager decision is crucial, get the right man in and back him,the team has potential to go up imo,if huddersfield and luton can get in the play offs with a bunch of journeymen why the hell can we not, just need the right manager
  8. the porn barons gold and sullivan skimped on the price and paid a cowboy firm to build two stands, they used the wrong type of steel,20 years later and it`s failed a safety inspection😀,pretty much safe in the knowledge that jack would`nt have authorised cut price steel
  9. judging by his actions or lack of them on the touchline, the training ground and the transfer market,he was lucky not to be sacked 2 years ago,he should be thanking venkys for keeping him in a job when correctly run clubs would have binned him
  10. is`nt every manager a risk,i bet arsenal fans were asking themselves,"who is the wenger chap, never heard of him"similarly liverpool fans questioning whether paisley should take over from shankly
  11. plays attacking football, works on a budget(wycombe are skint)charismatic, nearly kept wycombe in the championship last year (a good acomplishment) and he does`nt gurn and sit on his arris like mowbray,he smiles more as well
  12. nice to see our local paper the telegraph report **** all about our new manager search ,they are quick to write basically a managerial obituary for mowbray though, can`t think of a more useless newspaper anywhere
  13. **** me,id`e rather have no manager than him,the only candidate worse than grayson😀
  14. within ten minutes of saturdays game id`e figured out bournemouths plan of trying to pick us off on the counter ,im`e a former park footballer and fan, mowbray on the best part of half a million quid a year did nothing to combat it,iv`e lost count of the times we`ve been out manouvered tactics wise.bloody good riddance imo,get someone in who cares about losing
  15. a competent forward thinking manager would have though we are short on numbers,i`ll get in a centre forward just in case someone gets injured
  16. obviously i don`t want **** like barton or has beens like johnson, woodgate and grayson, just give me someone who is alive and plays positive football, ainsworth or farke for me,damien johnson is a bit of an unknown,he seems to have been distanced from the first team set up,we simply don`t whether he wants the job or what kind of manager he`ll be
  17. he`d start a fight in a monestary, probably knock swag out, assault the players and burn down brockhall if he got upset😀
  18. good, only thing i know about him is he had norwich playing attacking football, very attacking,i certainly would`nt mind if he brough teemu pouki here, that lad can finish
  19. damien johnson now entered the betting fray at 6/1,farke and ainsworth both 3/1,venus is at 14/1(not a bad shout at the odds),dyche and rooney both at 33/1,id`e want 300/1 if i was putting any money on dyche,he`s not coming here, managerial nomarks like lee johnson, woodgate and roy kean all at between 8 and 12/1
  20. if nixon told me night followed day i would`nt believe him tbh, though i would absolutely be delighted if farke landed here
  21. thanks for the promotion tony, even though it was basically impossible to fail on such a big budget for the division, after that you were ****,your tactics were rancid and you made decent players look bang average,no doubt you`re a decent chap, just not a very good manager, enjoy your soujourn in the north east but don`t come back to east lancashire any time soon, unless it`s to join burnley🙂
  22. sometimes you`ve got to just take a gamble,id`e like ainsworth here because he`s 100% opposite to mowbray,in personality and football ethos, after 5 seasons of stilted football, negativity and **** tactics it would be very welcome for me to see attacking football with a manager who is on the touchline directing his troops,i despaired at mowbray when he used to sit down and basically fall asleep
