  1. going to a tight game,i can`t recall ever seeing many decent finals, though the barcelona masterclasses against utd certaintly were the better ones
  2. french police arn`t the most patient, they`ll sort it out brutally if they have to🙂
  3. a nice way of saying, feral scousers trying to force their way into the stadium
  4. off topic i know, but lets hope there are some very disapointed scousers at 10.00 pm🙂
  5. lets keep it real lads, rafa benitez, manager of big clubs all over europe, purveyor of the excellent valencia team of the early 2000`s and a six year tenure at liverpool, where he won the european cup,is`nt coming to ewood park🤣
  6. 94 games of semi pro football, benson has`nt even played football at any level, alex ferguson did`nt play to a high level, those games did give him a grounding of what it`s like to be player though
  7. no one is commiting until we find out who the new boss is,can`t really blame us seeing as we`ve had mostly 10 years of misery and poor appointments
  8. you get what you pay for, that saying summed up the coyle regime perfectly😪
  9. the guy has never played the game at any level,he`s done his coaching badges through textbooks, how can he instruct professional footballers if he`s never experienced the game,he`d never get anywhere near the job in a properly run club, technically i could fit someone a new roof if i read a book about it,no doubt it would end in tragedy because iv`e never actually done it in reality
  10. would`nt get to worried,he announced he was finished with the game a few months ago
  11. the championship is devilish to get out of,only penalties one year and a scabby steve bruce hull side the other denied them ,we`ll have a better chance of getting to the promised land under carvalhal than moggasaurous thats for sure
  12. he did`nt fail at wednesday,he built a very good side who where unlucky not to be promoted,he did`nt fail at swansea either,he was a victim of stupid appointments before him and american owners who did`nt have a clue and he very nearly did keep them up,he`s a massive upgrade on moggadon (if it happens)
  13. he has`nt got the ability to play at this level imo,it would have been kinder to offload him and let him find his own standard
  14. just got in from a having a couple of pints in one of chorleys finest establishments and amazingly a couple of tables away from us was big duncan ferguson, enjoying a pint of strongbow and two chip barmcakes, not wanting to be on the receiving end of one of his headbutts,we left him alone in piece,he was in earnest conversation with another man, most likely his agent, lots of nodding going on and smiles at the end,our new manager i think, big duncan, welcome to ewood🙂
  15. if we had anyone with any footballing nous,he/she does`nt need to be expert, they`de have moved for wayne rooney and already secured him,we don`t however, have anyone in the club with the slightest idea of progression ,ambition or footballing knowledge, rooney is going to the top, rovers could have been his next step,as it is,he`s treading uncertainty at derby and someone will come in for him soon, someone with actual ambition
  16. goal hanging used to get you an extended bout of goalkeeping in our school yard, nobody liked going in the nets,it was for the useless fat kids who were crap or the oddballs who did`nt like football and got forced to play, there was no mercy in the 80`s school yard😁
  17. jordan "the biggest waste of a million quid ever" slew is playing for halifax and yes,he`s still ****
  18. my mate was convinced he saw kevin keegan on the darwen end car park this morning, getting out of his 7 series bmw, looked very serious and was hurried towards the jack walker stand reception by a very big minder,he obviously did`nt want to be noticed by the covert way he was escorted from his vehicle, could be big news on the way
  19. the lad from mk dons, scott twine is one to watch,he is due a step up in class imo
  20. at a guess,i suppose the start of cheap available travel and the enlightenment and the loss of innocence of the 60`s started all the hooligan movement,it spread in the 70`s and plateaud in the 80`s when it really was out of control, there really is`nt any organised nasty stuff there was in the 80`s,just a few ****** up idiots these days, thats life in general though, not just at the football
  21. i don`t usually watch motd due to my dislike of patronising **** lineker,im`e making an exception tonight though, the site of crying dingles is to tempting to miss😊
  22. having grown up in the 1980`s it`s nowhere near as bad as it was, just be thankful of that, mostly coked up spotty teenagers these days, who if they saw real trouble, would run a mile
