  1. well it`s in our own hands, all we have to be is consistant against some poor sides and serve mowbray some reheated prawns for his dinner,he`ll be out for the season then🙂
  2. hopefully liverpool will run them ragged in the fa cup, nothing like a bad defeat to dent your confidence
  3. i think blackpool are a decent side, josh bowler especially is a very good player,id`e love him here
  4. their deluded fans( unfortunately i know a few)were proclaiming they were definately going to be in the play offs a couple of weeks ago🤣
  5. i pretty much agree with all of the above mowbray`s time here has been been very much like the rest of his management career, barring his first club hibs, where he had them challenging rangers and celtic,it`s been one good season then a gradual decline resulting in the sack, only swag and venky`s disinterest/cluelessness has kept him here, and the only way were are getting shut is if he himself decides to leave,i don`t think he`d get sacked if he took us into the bottom division tbh
  6. That interview though. Wow. He almost looks like he's having some sort of medical episode. I mean I'd expect something like that if we had lost but even then I'd expect anger rather than the look of exhaustion/weariness on his face. Head in hands, clearly unhappy, just like he was this time last year. Like he doesn't enjoy the job and doesn't want to be here. deffo a dressing room revolt at half time,we know tony does`nt like to be questioned over his methods,i think they all got on his case at half time, venus, lenihan, travis, gallagher(i expect he was hopping mad at johnson being up front) and knowing johnson is`nt a shrinking violet,he probably had a go as well for being made to look a right pillock
  7. im`e not to concerned about pickering, granted he`s not brilliant but he holds his own,we`ve got bigger problems at right back, jrc needs to be taken out of the firing line,i think this league is a bit above his ability tbh,if we do play a back four at reading, lenihan is ok there as a temporary measure, you certainly ar`nt going past him easily
  8. it`s not bile or vitriol, just deserved criticism
  9. iv`e got to disagree, any manager who puts an immobile 36 year old defensive midfielder in a striker position should`nt be in charge of a professional side,it`s not as if it`s an isolated incident either, remember gally at right back, dolan at wing back, armstrong out wide, brereton out wide,i could fill the page with various mowbrayisms,it`s a case of extremely nice man who`s not a very good coach
  10. say we do get in the play offs, what kind of warped formation is he going to come up in a really big match, especially away,he now cannot be trusted to send a team out on the pitch that functions, after tonight i think tony has lost the plot, the dressing room and many fans respect
  11. i think the players are playing for each other and the possibility of promotion and a big wage rise, they are doing in spite of a manager who`s a f*****g idiot, mowbray did`nt change the team and make the subs,he`s never ever made two changes at half time
  12. thats how a 6"4 centre forward should play,he was like billy whitehurst in the 2nd half🙂
  13. the 1st one will do at the end of the season for me😃
  14. i nearly walked off the ground after the first half,it was beyond dreadful, bradley johnson, about as mobile as an oil tanker up front🤬,whoever decided to change things at half time, fair dues to you,i suspect it was`nt mowbray,it worked a treat,4/4/2,with gallagher showing us he can be a centre forward and play his size and dack just behind him(even 50% match fit he stands out),dolan was excellent out wide,he must be a nightmare to defend against iv`e never figured out why we can`t play this formation every week, let the opposition worry about us,not the other way round, keep it simple and let our pace hurt the other side, this is mowbray though and iv`e no doubt there will be some more of his weird selections on saturday by the way, that van hecke tackle was like bobby moore against pele, absolutely perfect
  15. can`t say im`e looking forward to tonight, going to ewood these days is like being forced to go to church when you were a kid, boring, cold and lacking any purpose
  16. personality clash i think, plus newell and shearer were best mates,as with sutton and shearer, andy cole and teddy sheringham hated each other, but it did`nt show on the pitch
  17. the irish horses well out of form😥,going to have to change my system tomorrow!!!!!!!
  18. brown made us laugh more😀 next up kevin moran or darren peacock
  19. i can certainly the false nine **** would be ditched and so would gallagher after the first game🙂
  20. matt jansen,he had it all, quick, two footed, good with his head, great finisher and superb awareness,it was tragic when he had his accident, though those two w*****s erikson and tord grip were to blame in a way, they had him in the final squad then decided to take keown instead, who did`nt even play a minute, pair of f******g muppets
  21. there is zero ambition or know how in the current set up,mowbray would have been shown the door 2 seasons ago with a competent ceo
  22. i loved the souness era, some great matches and some fantastic clashes with referees from the man himself(remember him accusing graeme poll of being a spurs fan!!),went a bit sour in the end when he did`nt properly replace duff and dunn, the jansen accident did`nt help either, more good memories than bad ones, that`s for sure
  23. sutton a proper target man, newell had more skill but did`nt have the consistency of sutton mind you i alwayd thought alan wright was just as good as lesaux, tbh i never liked the smart **** ****,even when he was playing for us,think he`s the kind of bloke who used to start fights in the school playground, then run off to tell the teacher
  24. it would be absolutely the epitome of rovers under mowbray to beat derby easily then lose to reading badly on saturday, his reign has been one massive inconsistency ,frankly we are not getting in the play offs,i just want the season to end and mowbray gone
  25. well then why are luton, with a shoestring budget,in the play off hunt and us,with better players all round struggling to score a bloody goal,is it because our manager is useless or is it because our manager is useless and tactically inept or could it be our manager is useless, tactically inept and has spent a ****load of venkys money,so much they won`t give him any more🙂
