I don't know.. I think to be promoted, sometime you have to win 3-2 or 4-2.. I don't think were capable of that yet.

He doesn't really create.. our shots on target record is still very poor if we are supposedly a team aiming for a top 6 finish.. we are heavily reliant on our defence keeping clean sheets to win games.

I'm never satisfied with a player that goes anonymous for games at a time as the team loses. Of course, the team plays well, and Dack flourishes. Very like Rhodes actually.

Dack is another one, like Rhodes, who will not attract prem league interest as his all round game is currently too limited. He needs to look to grealish if he wants to make a prem league player and up his game.

I'd feel happier with a proper left back there. That'd be my only change at the moment. Has to be Williams when fit.

The rest of the team suffered for Rhodes presence.. especially defensively.

If we keep the same line up, I fully expect sides to start targeting downing at left back very soon.

Oh I agree.. Gallagher should be central.. I'm not excusing TM.. just saying he's not alone as a manager in doing it.. you could replace TM and find a new man doing similar.

I think a lot of the time positional switches work in the short term, but longer term the players struggle for consistency in the alien role.

Just wanted to make the point that TM isn't the only manager to switch players playing roles.. there are many examples of managers doing this.. in the distant past rovers had 'marshalls misfits' Inc switching Fred Pickering from average full back to become an outstanding centre forward.. more recently we had Kenny dalglish signing striker Paul warhurst and playing him midfield.. I think Graeme le saux was a winger at Chelsea too before dalglish made him an England left back.. I'm sure there are many other examples, can anyone think of any?

Folk like rothwell because he's a fancy pants type.. all tricks, but little end product in reality(at the moment). He's the new rochina. We got him from Oxford on a free.. perspective.
