  1. Im still going to the havelock for a few regardless if we are playing or not, I've waiting 2 weeks for this pint!
  2. We've not been in the playoffs ONCE since being relegated in 2012. Crazy when you think about it. Many say rovers fans are deluded and living in the past and nobody has a devine right to be in the premiership, however I'm sure many can agree, we belong in the premiership, anyone who has won that trophy belongs in the Premier league. Eventually we are going to make it back, it's going to happen.
  3. Glad to be back at it Saturday, these 2 week breaks really take the wind out of you, each restart can mean different things for teams, can we go on a winning streak and further shock our relagation favourites prediction? This team is so hard to predict, I really have no idea how it will go in the run up to Christmas and new year.
  4. The gloating from them would be none stop.
  5. It's one of the best running jokes in English football.
  6. Agreed, sometimes you pick the right team for the job not necessarily the last team picked
  7. Preston just pretend to hate blackpool... it's us they obsess about more.
  8. Then penalties seemed never ending, reminiscent of our westham away penalties, also tuned in to watch breretons penalty which left him looking very relieved to end a goalless drought and booted the ball a second time into the net. Wanted preston to win this, they can relax and enjoy life for a few days, it will mean they don't have to have a "responce" as much. Also there beloved "BFG" Patrick bauer who's been put for 12 months is off again with an injury which could see him out for Saturday.
  9. One too many times in the past we have been bullied by prestons physicality, with rovers being quite a shortish team in previous seasons. They have had one above us far too many times, we need to put these ankle biting, bitter, prem virgins to the blue and white sword of Lancashire number 1 team. Although normally I would agree to keep the same team on following a 3-0 win, I think in this case it's a little different, we are "bussling" with quality and I would most certainly put gueye up top, his physicality is something we need against a team like preston, let's push and shove them a little more instead, like we did at the Jeremy kyle dome. I have every faith in J.E to make the right selections and to respect this as a derby, even though we don't class nobbers as one, if you've ever worked with them, they get a serious hard on over beating us, they can't contain their joy, they are so bitter and twisted and to stick it to them sunday and have them panicking in the relagation zone from a rovers win would be fantastic and just what they need to put them back into their little holes.
  10. Really looking forward to a potential pasting of preston, they seriously hate us. When we win we enjoy it a little, when they win they absolutely lose the plot, they love it. I want to see us enjoy beating them as much as they do, really hit home to them, we are everything they have never been. It would be an absolute pleasure to paste them come Sunday, il be there.
  11. I'm still in shock and awe from the transfer market, I can't believe what happend, where did it all come from. I thought we was going to be on life support until the court case was completely resolved. Then burnley imploded, I'm on cloud 9 at the moment and a much needed win over them ankle biting, vicious and bitter nobbers next Saturday will be the cherry on the cake.
  12. They certainly do, even though the management and teams change, the aura remains. I believe, Millwall, derby and even previously utd hated playing us.
  13. I feel like an abuse victim sometimes, where I'm constantly trying to assure everyone that Rovers has changed and theve turned a corner, I won't be hurt by winless death spirals and late conceded goals anymore.
  14. This infuriates me aswell and the faces they pull, I've had some serious injuries in my time and didn't feel the need to roll around slapping my hand down with my mouth wide open, it is absolutely pathetic! When rovers do it it angers me aswell. There should definitely be something in place to stop it, ruines the game and makes players become unconfident in proper tackles. I understand it can change the game winning free kicks and stifling then opponent via a yellow card, but I'd rather not have the advantage imo. I've never seen rovers as a major diving team, there are alot worse, including bonley 2 weeks ago.
  15. Just go town we was in all the pubs afterwards. That night was in town singing Rovers chants. It's not burnley. It's just a local match ;)
  16. I would never bet against rovers, ever. Like betting against my own son in a fight. Cold.
  17. I'm quite positive of a win. What a turn around! This team really does keep me on a roller coaster. I ought to check my blood pressure levels :D I'm going 2-1 Rovers.
  18. First Saturday night in a while there is no dark cloud over my head. I think il give the beer a rest this weekend and go for a walk.
  19. I'm sure she will be satisfied with 6, as will I ha ha
