But you're forgetting about the speed of the ball played into tronstad, pears absolutely fired it at him with a player on his shoulder -

I agree but pears will still be contracted to the club and as a manager / coach he wouldn't show his instant distrust to one of his players. So what would happen if he signs today, and he drops pears to play de lange on Friday. De lange then drops a clanger and we lose the game due to it. His confidence is shot and that would continue until he regains it. Then you also have Pears who knows you think he's not good enough to be number 1 and he won't ever be a number 1 at this club. Or on the other hand, De lange comes in, builds relationship with the players, gets a footing within the club and becomes number 1. I'm also not saying that would 100% would happen but the chance is there and I'm 90% of most coaches wouldn't drop players straight into the firing line, especially goalkeepers Also, I do believe we need to get Pears out ASAP with a better replacement but I feel that a coach wouldn't do this with a player coming into the club a few days before a game with next to no training. -

Regardless whether he signs before Fridays cut off JE wouldn't throw a goalkeeper in without bedding into the squad, also it would show zero faith to his soon to be number 2 in Pears. I suspect we will continue to see Pears as number 1 for a number of games until JDL has settled and shown his worth in training -

If he was that good we wouldn't be getting linked with him -

Poveda could be a good shout and his loan to Wednesday showed what he can do. Can he stay fit though? Thomas I'd stay clear of, in my opinion he wasn't great here and maybe had maybe 3 half decent games Khadra was only sold to Reims last July, don't think he'd jump at the chance coming to us. Our scouting department need to look for fresh faces to bring some spark to Ewood. -

A quick Google search suggests spurs are looking at him this summer for around 20 million euros..... need to lower our expectations unfortunately -

John Useless will probably try and put a positive spin on this, and comment that we're all in it together 🤦♂️🫡 -
Completely messed our weekend plans up for this. No child care cover now for this one. Looks like a night on the piss in Leeds instead. Any idea how many tickets Leeds are releasing?

I got absolutely lambasted by a certain poster when I suggested siggy is poor. He offers no attacking threat currently, as soon as he receives the ball he looks to offload. When he first arrived he said he's a player that likes to run at defenders and be on the offensive, where has that player gone now? Is that down to coaching? Out of form? Lacking confidence? -

Great win today and just what we needed! You could see today that they were told to play balls up to gallagher, every time we did szmodics and dolan peeled round the back of him waiting for a flick, which paid off for Dolans second. How many times in the past have we been frustrated with Gallaghers lack of presence despite his size, but today we played to his strengths and he actually got more than 2 inches off the ground 🤣 -

Has anyone mentioned about what sigurdsson actually brings to the team? He doesn't seem to bring anything that we actually need, like he did when he first came into the team -

Exactly, I feel like we need Gallagher to leave and bring a proven CF in, we then need another winger to compliment what we already have. If we get them then I think we'd be serious contenders -

Do we need another centre forward? Will Leonard continue to improve, look at the positions he got in today and his work rate, absolutely fantastic! I feel if we bought one this would push Leonard down the pecking order, he needs the game time and confidence. Either that or we ship Gallagher off and have Leonard and another CF -

Any news on Gallagher and hedges? We desperately need something from the bench next week, even if it means them coming into first 11, we'd then have dolan or markanday coming on from the bench -

Yes not writing him off at all, I don't think you can have an opinion on how somebody is going to be after 4 minutes of play. I was merely pointing out what he was like. We are desperately needing another winger and a striker though but that's glaringly obvious, same ad everybody else has pointed out. Past the first 11 we have next to nothing Let's hope Leonard and the likes of Gilsenan can really step up -

Yes definitely not panicking as he looked composed on the ball, just expected him to be quick, On the plus point for the game some good little passages of play done to cut through their midfield and then ultimately their defence. Tronstad looking good and very tidy -

Tbh I was disappointed with how slow Ennis looked when he came on, on his one sprint it looked like he was running in treacle, but on the positive side looked composed on the ball when he finally caught up with it -

Is it rumoured that our away kit is black / grey this year? I've seen murmurings on twitter with it, didn't know if there's any actual evidence that it might be? Plus sections of the training kit is black -
