No, that is not what you were saying. You called me insane. You said the idea was tin foil hat time. I said you sounded like you were quoting something you'd received from the club. It would be crass incompetence, if the club did not send out to its sponsors information that would enable said sponsors to support what the club is trying to do.

Well we know where this is going don't we? From the Coventry play book 1) Sell off the training facilities 2) Promise to build new training facilities, but don't 3) Sell the ground /Move out and ground share 4) (say your going to) Build new ground out of town. @JoeHThose phrases you came out with sound like they're from a spin sheet the club handed out to all its sponsors. You've blown their cover on the 'promotion back to the premier league' as a mere smokescreen. Just something to wave under our 'idiot' owners noses and equally 'stupid' fans noses.

Championship Season 2020 - 2021

True. I think they were hoping Eddie Howe wouldn't bail on them. They've had to make decisions they've never really wanted to make and that's never a good backdrop to making good decisions. Norwich look to be over their jittery patch. Those currently 2-6 look jittery. If 2 were to drop out of the playoffs, my faves would be Reading and Bournemouth with Cardiff and Middlesborough (under managers rejected here) to replace them. For us to get into the playoffs or higher would take an almost miracle or a conversion of Mowbray of Damascene proportions. -
Current Squad - Is it overrated?

@Ewood AceDisagree with you on Evans. Good enough for Northern Ireland. Has mystery injuries that miraculously clear for International breaks and equally mysteriously reappear after. He's a player Mowbray had a chance to sell and get some money for. Now, we'll lose him for nowt. I wouldn't try to extend his contract, mind. Were Bennett a horse, he'd have been put out to pasture by now. Apologies to horses. -
Mowbrays Successor

Rumour's all we've got. If it's Hughes being lined up or anyone else for that matter, who they bring in with them is also a matter of interest and speculation. -
Tony Mowbray Discussion
Richard Oakley replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Come 10pm Wednesday, if results go against us, we will be in 16th place. Where we were when Bowyer got potted. The phrase 'dropping like a stone' springs to mind. That's relegation territory. We're this season's Hull City, from points tally to a manager who hasn't got a clue. Mowbray is now a millstone around our neck, yet won't walk. He thinks he's unsackable, too well protected and he's just arrogant with it. I hope Venkys realise that change is needed and are working to bring in a new manager before the rot becomes irreversible. -

Gallagher is out - if he's got a punctured lung, perhaps for ever. Nyambe could be out sometime, if it is a hamstring. Injuries have ripped the squad at the start of the year to shreds, especially defence. The squad is still top 6 in talent/potential and another manager could get a top 6 finish. The team is not playing with any belief that they're going to win. Formation would be 4-4-2, despite my preference for 4-2-3-1 Kaminski JRC Lenihan Carter Douglas Dolan Travis(c) Rothwell Elliott Dack Armstrong It's not JRC's best position and he's on his way back from injury. Not certain about Carter. Elliott's left footed. Get crosses in from the byline. The way Blackburn Rovers used to play. -

Area 51? Collusion? I wouldn't know, anything's possible. When an entire team's not at the races, you know something is up. Something perhaps along the lines of your manager telling you just before you go out on the pitch that today is his last game in charge. -

Something very odd happened at Huddersfield today. Swansea conceded 4. Previously conceded 15 in the season. Could HSH be ordering Cooper to get himself fired to line him up to be sent here? -

Shutting Brockall would constitute a major threat to our future. -

A victory to Forest would have made the case more definitively to Venkys that his time is up than a 1-0 defeat with Armstrong missing a penalty. Only if we get stuffed would Venkys have to notice. -

Whilst both men got us relegated, neither threatened the long term future of our club. Neither was in position long enough. Mowbray is. -

Goals from Murray, Knockaert and Lolley, once he come on, and another late consolation goal from Armstrong. 3-1 Forest. Brightside, no Grabban to grab a couple. -

Ah so a continuation of Coyle's formation. I'd pretty much given up on the season and didn't pay attention to formations. -

Too much laughing from reading Mowbray's statements. -

4-4-2 would make us more solid at the back. It's got 4-3-3 all over it, though. Has Mowbray ever played 4-4-2, because I can't remember a time, when he did? Out go Bennett, Douglas, Lenihan, Dack and Downing. Our inexperienced CBs haven't the nous to cope with wily experienced strikers in Grabban and Murray. It's an attacking line up. Whether it is, is another matter. Mowbray clearly knows he needs something out of the game. -

'Tea leafs'? is that what he calls Venus, Lowe and Benson? I can see Mowbray playing 7 players lacking in match fitness. Match fitness depends on the tempo and intensity Mowbray wants them to play. Pressing with Armstrong is a waste of time. The odd press is fine to keep their defence 'honest'. Our 2 January loanees at the back haven't the experience to cope with Grabban and Murray
