Because 1864 has said Nyambe is not good enough and I think he is, so if he moves to say Leeds or Southampton then 1864 is wrong and Nyambe clearly has something about him.

Shouldn't this be titled Rovers U23 Vs Pie eaters? I hope TM plays the kids, all of them, every position and we take our chances result wise. The 1st 11 need a rest and this is hopefully the time to do it.

I like Nyambe, for our division I think we have a good defensive full back. Personnally his lack of final ball and attacking deficencies don't bother me too much as he is a key part of our stingy defence and his role in this seems to be forgotten by many.

One would assume that with a 1 year option he would not be able to do that. I'm guessing he's speaking to them, why wouldn't him and his agent explore the possiblities abailable to him and presently I guess he can speak with them and guage what wages etc they can offer him. My main worry is he runs his contract down in pursuit of playing abroad, they cannot pay 25m+ and match the wages he would get here (Premier league) in one hit but if there was no fee, then his wages would be higher. I worry he will move abroad and we'll be left with no fee to buy another striker.

All I'm saying is that if he did increase his strength, as we all can, he would get better still. Yes natural development, but with modern techniques he would improve further still. He has progressed and this is good to see, as he is becoming pivotal to us, but another boost to his physicality would enhance his contribution even more.

Come on Joe, anyone can get stronger and Bucko is no exception. In a game where strength influences so many physical and mental attributes, becoming stronger would only reap benefit. Bucko should hire a coach and do it himself, he'd be much better off for it and so would we be.

It used to be that busy I would park at the services and walk to Ewood, as there was no point even trying to drive into the town. 16k is a good turn out given events of the last 11 years and hopefully it is a sign that we can get better attendances, if the club/team continues to perform.
