  1. Yep, would you trust them in a play-off semi final let alone a final?
  2. It doesn't turn sadly, don't renew until they go, or if they make a genuine "significant investment" in players. There was a very deceitful early bird offer last season, engineered by Waggott to trap fans because they knew Eustace wasn't getting the budget he'd been promised. It worked because many trusted them to spend the Raya sell-on and some of the Wharton fee on players, however, we sleepwalked through the summer spending pennies and positioned ourselves as favourites in the media to go down because of it... There's no reason it'll be any different this time. Bridges have been burned between the club and likely thousands more season ticket holders, with the non-existent transfer budgets and an inability to keep hold of decent managers. The CEO, Directors and Owners have been given chance after chance to be honest and communicate with the fan base but they are incapable... They need starving out.
  3. Not pretend everything is fine at the club. Quite simple really.
  4. From a players perspective with this amount of disruption during what you would consider a successful season. Why wouldn’t you feel something is wrong? It’s largely unheard of. If your answer to that is, you wouldn’t, nothing is wrong Eustace was just a snake. Then you’re a deluded prat. The problem is a good chunk of our fanbase (the happy clappers) will fully be thinking that way. There’s a major IQ issue in football fanbases.
  5. It's funny how someone like Toth can come in make a slight error, then not get a sniff for the next 20 games but Aynsley can consistently flap at crosses and cost us vital goals with other ridiculous errors over multiple seasons. The positioning on his freekick at Bristol was sackable. The one the other week with his feet where he's kicked it in? One of the worst keeping errors I've ever seen. Totally inexcusable. I'd have dropped him immediately after that. Flapping at it today costing us another vital goal.... The miss kick vs Sheffield Weds... there's so many more. An alarming amount more. I've never seen a keeper who's tested so little.... make so many errors when tested. JDT bizarrely playing him over Kaminski cost us the playoffs before. Eustace wanted a new no.1 too. Get him GONE and bring in a more physical goalkeeper!
  6. Shock... Adam Armstrong is helping West Brom get into the playoffs ahead of us. Meanwhile our new signings lack fitness, you get what you pay for. Pathetic stuff.
  7. We've been lucky the past few seasons to have some very good managers come in, sadly good managers don't last with bad owners but as we've seen in the past..... bad ones do......
  8. I'll say it again.... the only reason Tyrhys Dolan entered the Rovers record books today is due to a severe lack of investment in players from the owners over the past 5 yeas. Not something to celebrate.
  9. The reserve keepers must be absolutely shite in training. This man costing us way too many games season after season.
  10. They simply must significantly drop season ticket prices in this case, and choose one stand to almost give them away in. Obvious choice is the Riverside.
  11. Waggott taking up half the transfer budget 🤣
  12. Could buy a decent right winger in place of Waggott. What a cretin.
  13. I think that not investing in a quality right winger to rotate or replace (and somewhat protect) Dolan is costing us far too regularly in key phases... Whether that be losing possession when facing the wrong way or a lack of goals as a team. If you are only providing 3 or 4 outfield goals a season, and 4 or 5 assists then you HAVE to be performing better for the many... many minutes in between if you're playing regularly and he is. That means passing sharper, protecting the ball well and carrying it better. Then you can go about asking for a big wage. He needs to focus on improving.... and sack his agent but it's too late. I worry where his career will go after his next move. His minutes played are that of someone you would expect to be a higher earner but his ability isn't there. That's because we've hardly spent a penny in recent years and we've created a problem where a player thinks he's better than he is. Useful squad player that needs to improve but starts nearly every game.
  14. It would be nice if SKY or ITV bothered to show it as a highlight.... They're quick to show Norwich missing a couple of chances but not a major talking point against them.
  15. Norwich signed today’s goalscorer Crnac for £10 million in the summer. He was a sub. They also spent £5m on right winger, £3m on a centre midfielder, £3m on a centre back, £1.5m on a left back and £1m on a spare centre midfielder. This is what we are up against. They're 11th. I pointed out a similar thing out when Millwall striker Ivanovic scored a winner against us in December they signed him for £3 million in the summer. Everyone above us have outspent us and nearly everyone below us has. Including Plymouth and Derby... Let that sink in. If you don't think we're being let down or neglected by the owners then you're a moron. It’s a miracle we are where we are and we absolutely must continue to highlight the lack of investment from the owners.... If you think we lack quality look no further than them. They owe some more reasonable spending in the summer, or they need to leave.
  16. Chrisene won't have expected a second yellow to be given there imo. He was making a meal of it to try and make sure he got a kind freekick to try and relieve some pressure, like all defenders do these days. It's a shocking decision from the referee to card him and one of the worst refereeing performances I've seen... got it wrong multiple times for both teams. Some simply can't have played the game, ever. Demote whoever he is.
  17. and perhaps a promotion to Premier League?
  18. Ah but you're forgetting "we're only a small club" the owners need the funds. and the football giant that is Brentford prevails.
  19. cheap cheap cheap and convenient. No ambition, no plan, a plodder of a CEO and absent owners.
  20. Personally feel this appointment is the start of the end. We will plummet next season under Ismael, Waggott and Suhail.
  21. Reading now have a buyer https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2025/february/24/club-statement-letter-intent/
  22. The only way for the board to make up for the Eustace debacle was to make a progressive statement with the next managerial appointment. Ismael isn't it. We were 5th so the opportunity was there to do that. It needed to inspire immediately across 13 games (now 12). I'm so unbelievably disappointed with the club again and for me it compounds losing Eustace in the way we did... and further validates the accusations against them.... As if that was needed. I'm not surprised at all by an unimaginative, cheap as they come appointment. It epitomises the board and owners.... but if that's what they wanted then why wasn't it done weeks ago....... and if they didn't want that, why can't they secure a first choice manager that takes some money and some convincing, when 5th in the league? They've got to go for me.
  23. "Watford have sacked boss Valerien Ismael following a run of only one win in 10 league games". Get used to it. Minus the sacking part of course. I'd like to know why we took two weeks and still ended up here.... Clearly not a preferred choice but we got there in the end..... after being told to piss off by enough people.
  24. Two names that don’t deserve to inherit a team in a playoff position, and wouldn’t usually.
  25. Really? For a team that’s 5th with 12 to go and ran correctly? I think not. Desperate stuff because we aren’t ran correctly.
