  1. Couldn't even get a few hundred to harmlessly throw a tennis ball.
  2. Health. I don't see any issue with fans attempting to get a refund. Go for it. It's about time they pushed back in every way possible. They need to know there are thousands of unhappy customers.
  3. I know plenty of people that want a refund on their season tickets. As daft as it sounds it almost seems a reasonable request.
  4. I haven't seen a worse squad than this in 30 years supporting Rovers. Thank you Venky's. It's long over due that you fucked off! Total negligence, shouldn't be anywhere near English football. Ignored by the media. Supported by the local postmen (The LET). A club ruined in Pune and happy clapped by the majority of fans throughout. That is the reality. Not a penny of the Wharton money reinvested. Not a penny of last seasons unspent budget spent. Not a penny spent this season. Total scum (Waggott included)
  5. Insanely disorganised and depressing from the club. A total sign of the times at Ewood under Waggott and Venky's. God knows how they've sold any season tickets.
  6. Waggott will ram this down our throats as a marquee signing. The budget blown.
  7. That isn't his fault or the fans fault, again it comes back to the club and the owners. It's hard for anyone to have confidence in any target or decision they make because of the way it is being ran. Naturally you would expect signings in our circumstances to have less of an impact than ones at well run, well scouted and well funded clubs. The reality is they aren't doing enough in the window, they haven't for years and the reaction to this signing is just collateral damage. Good luck to him, I really hope he's a good un and importantly... the first of many!
  8. "I'll judge them at the end of the window" ... just like I did last window, and the one before when they refused to invest properly in the first 11. The story of a Blackburn Rovers fan if you've got a very low IQ. Their way of "running" a football club is not sustainable and will never result in success on the pitch. VENKY'S OUT!
  9. The first game is 3 weeks away. Incredible we haven’t signed a player. When we needed 6 or 7. We had squad size issues last season even with a bunch of loans. We also had (and still have) some really poor players in the first team squad. It’s total negligence from the owners. We had Adam Wharton playing passes half the squad couldn’t even see, for half the season. His money simply had to be reinvested in quality players to stand any chance. They must be selling the club, surely.
  10. So far the window is a major two fingers up to any season ticket holders.
  11. Predicted it weeks ago, you can't get any more "yes man" than that. We will go nowhere under this manager but the reality is there are far bigger problems above him.
  12. We needed to be extremely active this summer to make up for last summer and should be leading the charts for players signed. This isn't like other underwhelming windows gone by, it's complete negligence and fronted by Waggott.
  13. Had the exact same thought. Told myself I was wrong to think it. Then I saw Scott Wharton 😄
  14. Birmingham (League One) are completely outspending us (£3m so far). They went down and I've no doubt they are going to have a better squad than us shorty, or already do in League One. It's shocking, absolutely shocking from the club. I'm praying Venky's go but we needed them to sell the club months ago. As it is they're cornering us into another relegation, only this one you can see coming a mile off.
  15. Macron are releasing some really top kits and I'd usually be proud of them but the scumbag CEO and lack of communication from him about anything, combined with the absent owners is really taking the edge off it all. I am certainly falling out of love with the club.
  16. The perfect appointment for Waggott. A grateful deputy. You see it all over, often at companies that will head under.
  17. The finances in that article are hilarious. The club feels absolutely finished right now and I keep thinking back to the surprised faces at Ewood when chants of Venky and Waggott out started towards the end of last season... They must live under a rock. Too many inside Ewood appear to have a total lack of grip on reality.
  18. The long and short of it is they aren't fit and proper as it stands and haven't been for a while. They're being allowed to run a football club in England that they shouldn't be. The media should cover it and the local press (Jackson) should push it. Fund first team transfers or sell up.
  19. and why do they go silent? Good luck to anyone trying to get Venky's to do business promptly. The owner's HAVE to go for this club to progress. Yes, I'd sack the CEO too but this is all them.
  20. This has to be the focus this season and from everyone, finally.
  21. It would appear we're a club looking at free transfers that can't afford most free transfers.
