They sing it like it's a badge of honour, when in reality they're playing at being the northern equivalent of Millwall, and let's be honest, no one really gives two hoots about them in the main. -
He's a Pedri type player - some way to go obviously!!! - who's easy on the eye and has the natural knack of finding space and the right pass.
-
Arguably he's given up judging on recent performances, but he's also not a very intelligent footballer.

Obviously disspointing to lose to that lot again, but there was much to be positive about last night. For large periods, we had the better of the game against the division's best team. Our general play was very good, but we all know where are deficiencies are. I'm genuinely optimistic for next season, if - and it's a very big IF - the club invest smartly and Broughton does what he's paid to do. Our fans were excellent again last night, great backing. In hindsight, we perhaps should have given them the whole end - we might have actually heard them. Plenty of other sides have had far better vocal support than the Clampets. Their support remains a myth. -

5k lower isn't it? The ends hold 8k each I thought. -
As I said after the PNE game, he flatters to deceive. The second half summed him up. Looked good on the eye, but when it came to the crunch, he fluffed it. He's not a winner.

Admittedly, I've got a bee in my bonnet about Dolan, but I'll despair if he starts the game. -

I think Morton will be a bigger loss tonight than perhaps people may think. Not because it's Morton per se, but because we've no ready made replacement who's either got some games under his belt (Garrett), or would have to move positions (JRC). I hope he doesn't go back to 2 in the middle; we might then get rolled over. -

Ability and mentality tend to go hand in hand, The better players have more of both. I don't think we've 'bottled it' though, as some are suggesting. -

This season isn't down to mentality IMO. It's a lack of ability. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

The time to judge Tomasson is after the next window or two. He's currently operating with two thirds of a good side, the other third being poor. Recruit well and the ball is then in his court. -

To me, Hedges always flatters to deceive. He's often nice on the eye, but nothing much comes of him. We need winners; he isn't one. -

It;s been a long while since I felt as gutted walking off a ground as I did yesterday. The reality, though, is that some of our players just aren't good enough; they're not winners. To be where we are, when we have the likes of Dolan being anywhere near the first team, let alone starting matches, is quite an achievement when you reflect. I still haven't given up hope of the play offs yet though. Funny things may yet still happen. We've nothing to lose now. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach
Wheelton Blue replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Any mention of wanting Tomasson out is just crazy talk. People have short memories of the dross which Mowbray served up. We're a far better side than what we were when he took over. Yes, he makes mistakes with selections and tactics, but considering the standard of some of our players, he's done an excellent job so far. What's crucial is that the club back him properly in the summer. We're 3 or 4 players off being a rather good team. -
IMO, it's a case of both with Brereton - he's definitely now hiding, and he's also long since been found out.

Szmodics nearly lost his head at that. Second later, he basically hacked one of theirs down. -
Look to sell them. That's the model.
-
... and sold.
-
What's he 'developing' into?
-
For all the criticism of Gallagher - and yes, he is beyond bad - Brereton and Dolan are equally as poor.
-
So what? Half the premier league and the more affluent EFL clubs will be 'keeping a tab' on Wharton.
