  1. As mentioned on another thread, we need Ayala back yesterday. Losing Lenihan would mean either Johnson filling or, or a change to 4 at the back.
  2. Leaonard Cohen - Chelsea Hotel No. 2
  3. Need Ayala back pronto. If either of Lenihan, VH or Wharton get injured or suspended, then we're looking at Johnson filling in or a change in formation.
  4. Their number 7 (Johansen?) was very good I thought.
  5. 3 wins in 10. 3 goals in 10. Aye, OK
  6. Yep. 3 goals in the 10 league games since the start of the year. 'Goals will come' though...
  7. We don't have natural goalscores to convert chances. That's the issue.
  8. Coulda, shoulda. 1 goal in 6 games games suggests that we have a problem.
  9. Our forwards today chased and harried, but they carry no where near enough goal threat. Up until the goal, I couldn't see where one was coming from.
  10. Great win, which is all that matters right now. Until the goal though, we never looked like scoring from open play in a month of Sundays.
  11. Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
  12. We've got to score sooner or later. QPR have been iffy of late, but got a morale boosting win mid-week. 1-1
  13. No wins in 5. 2 points taken. No goals scored. That's hardly the form of a team in the ascendency, put it that way.
  14. Bob Marley And The Wailers - Three Little Birds
  15. Maybe. But going off facts, we're dropping like a stone and can't score for toffee. Boro and Forest are improving.
  16. I agree. But it's far more likely that the challenge to Bournemouth will come from Sheffield United or Middlesborough, than it will from Blackburn Rovers.
  17. I don't see him tinkering with the formation as the defence is solid, but he may tinker with the forward personnel, either through choice or necessity IMO he's got to shake something up. We'll surely see Hedges again at some point, otherwise, what is the point of him? Who knows what we'll see though? Mowbray's not shy of acts of randomness.
  18. Electric Light Orchestra - Telephone Line
  19. We're not going up, that's pretty obvious. We are regressing at a rate; better teams than us are still improving. If we make the play offs, I'll be very surprised. Mowbray won't change; this is as good as it gets with him I'm afraid, being stuck in yet another rut without a clue how to get out of it, or just unwilling to admit he's getting it wrong. That's not to say the season has been a disaster. I for one thought we'd be in the mire, which to his credit, we aren't. 5 years is a long time for one man It will need a change come summer to freshen things up, to try something new and to reinvigorate the place.
  20. Bruce Springsteen - Sinaloa Cowboys
  21. Without wanting to open up the whole Millwall postponement debate(!) again, I reckon Waggott knows the specifics as to why the referee called the game off, but he isn't saying. The ref would have said something like 'I'm calling the game off on the grounds of player safety, because of x,y and z' Call me cynical, but I think the reason why we don't know exactly what 'x,y and z' are, is because Waggott doesn't want us to know. Why? Because fingers will then point at him.
  22. Dream Academy - Life In A Northern Town
  23. FFS Please read the thread properly. I know that the club offered an explanation of sorts. I've said that in a previous message & don't expect or want anything further. I originally replied to another poster who wants an explanation from the referee himself. I don't think that it is necessary for the referee to do this. End of.
  24. I agree. To be clear, I'm not lambasting anyone & have no opinion as to who was at fault. As I said, I don't really care whose fault it was. The point I was trying to make was simply that, as a customer of the club if there was any explanation to be had I'd expect that to come from the club, which as you say has been given to a degree. It's all a moot point anyway. The club won't criticse the ref, likewise the ref won't openly lay blame on the club. As supporters, we're just expected to lump it.
