It’s bullshit anyway. The Plymouth game proved you can simultaneously protest against the terrible board & ownership and get behind the lads, we won comfortably 2-0 and there was a huge feel good factor around the stadium. It improves the atmosphere if anything, the players know the fans are fully behind them.

Waggott calls the Championship table “Snakes and Ladders” We obviously keep hitting the Steve Waggott snake every January - the biggest snake on the board sending us from the Top 6 down to mid-table again every season! 🐍 I honestly think Rudy has some credit in the bank, for me he’s certainly naïve with how the head coach change has been handled; a 6-month temporary appointment would’ve been better to steady to ship and not change things too much in terms of the playing style. But he’s clearly trying to do his job and under a competent and trustworthy CEO he would get better and improve. Being an ex-player he knows what is expected on the field and likely has good contacts at this level. Suhail, nice to hear from you mate but you’re clearly a Venkys yes man. Nodding dog throughout the interview and certainly doesn’t have the ability to hold the owners to account, or even speak to them from what I can gather? We’re going to run out of people to want out! Venkys, Suhail, Waggott, Gestede, Ismael - get the whole lot out and start again. The players also have a lot to answer for. Too many in that squad just happy to be there and pick up a pay cheque for average performances. The whole club, aside from a very successful academy, is toxic from top to bottom.

Decent wingbacks but the 2 midfielders aren’t expansive enough to do the job and the lack of a number 10 to link the midfield & attack is a huge issue. The defence aren’t used to playing a back 3 which is why Hyam made the mistake on Wednesday - too many spaces in between on a huge pitch and Stoke took advantage.

You’re right, there will be little to no reaction. There was vs Plymouth but back to normal against Norwich with not a whimper about Venkys. But what exactly is it you’re looking to do by slagging off our fanbase, that you are a part of? Aside from that, I’m rapidly losing interest in Rovers. It’s Groundhog Day again, this time under the worst coach we’ve had for a while - his quick changes and awful formation change have left the players confused. They simply aren’t good enough to play his expansive pressing style of football. Distinct parralels with Amorim at Utd with his rigid 3-4-3 without the players to play it. Exactly the same with us. 4-2-3-1 has worked all season, why change it? Madness.

I’m no tactical genius but feels like the handbrake is off and our attacking players have been given license to express themselves. Also both full-backs were high in the 2nd half creating overloads either side, Plymouth were so poor we were playing with 2 defenders when we had the ball. Credit to the lads for going for it though, even at 1-0. Also credit to Eustace the snake for laying some pretty solid foundations but it should be a much more exciting end to the season now he’s gone. COYB 🌹 Venkys, Suhail and Waggott OUT!

If not now then when? Enough is enough when it comes to the running of this club No cosying up to Waggott in meetings with the players. The time for dialogue is over. They’ve shown their true colours. It’s time to show ours 🔵⚪️

All ideas on the table. Whatever happens needs to come with an educational piece for the fans with their head still in the sand and the wider media. Hopefully there will be a greater consensus now after what has happened, the ill judged club statement and the support from WATR. It’s a start.

Odd thing to say for a Rovers fan to downplay the effects of any protest on a protest thread. Are you on the Venkys payroll? I admire your realism and you’re probably right but there is no greater time for action than now. What will it do? Probably nothing on its own, but if there is a steady and consistent effort from the fan base we have left, and all of us are united, we can grind them down.
