Off topic but my little sister lost her handbag at the game tonight. A handbag you can't get any more either. Worth a post I suppose. 'So she enjoyed her very first Blackburn Rovers football match and coped well with the environment. On the down side she’s lost her handbag which means everything to her, last seen next to the picnic benches outside the rovers store. It’s of no value to anyone else, just full of colouring pencils and lolly sticks but she has autism and is really distressed she hasn’t got it 😞. Please share and see if we can reunite her with her bag 🔵⚪️⚽️❤️' -
The manager himself said in that interview last week there will hopefully be more players coming in. Still over three weeks until the deadline unfortunately. If we keep winning then there's less pressure to get deals done. Take the Morton transfer we were lucky we got it done. Because fast forward a week or so Thiago is out for six weeks. Meaning he probably wouldn't have come.

Lower fee higher sell on percentage surely for a potential dutch international. They've already brought in so much money this summer through player sales. Similar to the Armstrong deal I'd suggest. That's if they do actually want to sell. Yeah it means we lose a chunk of any potential profit we could make. But let's be realistic it's the only chance we'd have to sign him. If he gets us promotion along the way then that far outweighs the money Brighton would make.

I think Buckley showed glimpses last season, one that automatically springs to mind was the first game against Swansea. Unfortunately he didn't do it often enough although I think there is definitely a player in there. If he was a few years younger and showing this sort of promise, he'd get the benefit of the doubt from some. Also in the last season or so he has definitely come on which is encouraging. I think if he could do it more consistently and obviously add to his assists/goals, he could be great for us. If he was a couple of years younger or did add to his numbers, then premier league clubs would be all over him. I certainly think he can become a much better player than rothwell. With age on his side and obviously be will get plenty of chances here.

People were crying out for signings and now we're starting to make them, people still aren't happy 😂. This is football. The manager and director of football live by their results which is obviously influenced by the signings they make. Especially if they're backed. Mowbray would've stuck by dack irregardless. I think he can still have a part to play. But if he doesn't fit the style the manager wants to play then there's not much more can he done. At the end of the day it's jdt's reputation and job on the line. Both Sammie and Brittain although from league one clubs. They are arguably good enough for this league. They shone in poor teams, so let's hope they do even better in a decent championship team. I think Saturday showed the difference in quality between the championship and the teams we played in friendlies. Vale had a great pre season and struggled. I'm not saying players like him, Wharton or any of the other young lads can't have a part to play. Especially with the five subs, if the manager chooses to use them. But I think people are getting far too carried away, to think they are good enough to carry this club.l through the season.

Can see it two ways. Is it better for him to be frustrated at not getting on the pitch. Show his frustrations without doing anything really out of line. Or for him as one of the highest earners to be happy just watching. He is still arguably one of the best goal scorers in the team. He can still play a massive part even if only getting a limited amount of game time.

Yeah they looked really good, especially in the first half. They went off the boil in the second half and Huddersfield could've nicked one back. Truth is they massively over achieved last season and I think they could be in big trouble. My wife was buzzing even though I had to explain who most of the players were and what they were doing. She can't remember them ever playing as well as that first half. I rated that maatsen lad last year at Coventry and I think he'll kick on this season. We need to get our shit together if we play that team the way they played first half it could get embarrassing.

A few predictions for tomorrows game. I'm thinking a 2-1 win tomorrow. Gallagher to get both. An assist for substitute, Adam Wharton. And me pissed by two o'clock. -
New players done necessary mean better though. No team who comes down with the aid or parachute payment's, usually loses this many first team players. They usually stay for at least a season to see if they can bounce back. If you wrote all the new names down and compared them with who has left. I'd say most are downgrades. The only player I really rate and this is obviously without seeing what the new lads can do. Would be charlie Taylor. He is too good for the championship and hopefully he gets a move away aswell.
