Trouble is to get that you have to pay over the odds or wait until a player nears the end of his contract. We're best shopping abroad if it means players can use us as a window to get a big move. Much better than the loans where we get nothing in return for a player doing well here. I've no idea who the lad is the one thing I know is we need numbers. I'm trying not to panic. I'm getting excited for Saturday now, i just hope Burnley lose Friday night to take the pressure off in my house 😅.

That's only if he has another season as good as last. Or rather before Christmas and away at Birmingham. It's a risk on his part too. Not saying he wouldn't get snapped up for free. But if he has a bad season the calibre of club will drop too. The worst possible scenario is we sign him for seven million and he leaves for free. That can't happen again after this summer. He doesn't strike me as the kind of player who would force a move or down tools. His stock was arguably higher in January and at least to my knowledge I never heard any talk of him wanting to leave.

Unfortunately any player who has done well here on loan, always either get into the first team of their parent club or get a move elsewhere. Hopefully with a bit of stability behind the scenes and a decent season under the new management may change this. It'd be incredible if we got him back on loan and even more so on a permanent. He doesn't strike me as the type of player who'd be happy sitting on the bench at Brighton. If he is available I'd love him back, my post was just me being sarcastic.

Dack was arguably one of if not the best player in the championship the first season or so we came up. Obviously two big injuries later he might never reach that level again. But he scores goals and gets in good positions. Whether he presses or is mobile enough is another issue. With two years left on his deal and very unlikely that any team will be in for him, it makes sense to keep him around. Even if for the last ten minutes. He is a dogged who even if not having the best game will win fouls and draw defenders. He was brilliant at keeping the ball at the corner flag and running the clock down.

Poveda had one good game at ewood, I can't remember who against. But he scored and might have got an assist too. He was terrible before that and then obviously got injured. He'd be a good prospect if he was like 18/19 but he's a few years older and not good enough. Loads of players have managed one good game in the last season or so. Off the top of my head Paul downing when he got that assist, magloire mid week against I want to say wigan and even Clarkson when he played that ball through with the outside of his boot. Avoid.

The squad like us would've known mowbray was on his way out, even before it was half confirmed. Same with the new manager coming in they would've known ahead of the fans. If it was such hell under mowbray. A new manager coming in would've been a dream for the three who have left. Especially nyambe who everyone seems convinced for some reason was treated poor by mowbray. To a lesser extent rothwell too who until last season it seemed mowbray wasn't the biggest fan of.
