My prediction for this game is a resounding 3-0 victory...but only on the condition that stead starts! -

ive just bought the new idlewild record...lives upto the hype imo. Also got The Futureheads and The Kaiser Chiefs. Very Good!

surely 'Bully boy' by shed seven would be the most suitable?! -

Do Villa have a problem with Rovers or something? In the build-up to the Burnley match they loaned Peter Whittingham to the Dingles... now that Rovers have advanced to play Leicester, Stefan Moore joins the Foxes on loan. Why do they seem to want us out of the FA Cup? never! -

i actually think that chances will be hard to come by for both teams, but still think we'll win.....very nervous though! As for Savage and Dickov, they might not get the chance to lose their cool!teamtalk -

Along with getting two quality strikers, the most important signing for us in my view would be Nissa extending his deal. It would be ridiculous to let him leave after his performances this season (at both centre back and right back), and escpecially with short and amoruso and matteo (fingers crossed) going n the summer. Majority of the budget has to go on the front line though. Camara and Bellamy for me. I think Hughes commands a lot of respect from the players who played under him for Wales, and so could be a calming influence on Bellamy...... Who knows, away from the bright lights of Newcastle he might actually mellow out a bit and stay out of trouble. I'd rather get Camara over Pandiani.....(wouldn't say no to both of them though!!! ) If we manage to get one of these three then there goals would propell us into the top half without doubt. -
i don't understand whats going on with Emerton. When Hughes first came in he produced a succession of really good performances around the time we played liverpool at home. But it seems that as the team grows in confidence week in week out, Brett is going the other way and losing his? why?! Where did he play for Feyonoord (sp.)? Should stick with same team for leicester, give sav and Dickov a chance to recover fully. Stead should now be first choice striker!
-
dikovs injury might be a blessing in disguise. Hughes has to give stead an extended run in the first team now and i'm sure goals will come with that! Is this the return of Jon Stead?! Lets hope so!!!

looking at the fixtures we have remaining if rovers do not stay up it will be an absolute catastophe!! If we can pick up a few points where they're not expected (starting today hopefully) and win the games against the teams around us we could still attain a respectable league position this season. That coupled with a cup final appearance would put a smile back on my face for sure! -
[Archived] Most Hated People In Football
cn_barlow replied to ben_the_beast's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
before savage came there's no doubt he would've topped that list by a considerable amount. For some reason it feels good to have one of the leagues most hated players in our team! anyway.....my top five is..... 1-Rodney Marsh 2-Diouff 3-Bruce (and the birmingham board) 4-Uriah rennie (where did all the stoppage time go?!) 5-mourinho Cant really include burnley because i dont hate them.....more like pity them. They will forevermore be living in Rovers' shadow! -

We discussed the same last night. Got potential to be a good area to sit (or stand in last nights case) in the section towards the Darwen End. i was sat there, right next to the Darwin end, and except from the fifteen minutes at the beginning of the second half when the whole ground went quiet, i was on my feet singing from start to finish- quality atmosphere. Something tells me it will be a bit different against leicester though -
cheers, should be able to find them!

are these pubs easy to find? i'm not from blackburn and rarely venture there (except for matches), but gotta wait around for an hour or so after the match to get a lift home so need somewhere warm to hide out.

quick question....will the pubs be open after the match? -
"welcome to hell!" hardly Istanbul is it!!
-
USABlue, the bbc website will have all the fixtures for the teams in the premiership. www.bbc.co.uk (don't know how to make it a link as i'm computer illiterate!!)
-
if we play 4-4-2 and go at them then i think it'll be a stroll.....3-0 with stead bagging his first of many this season. However if we play 4-5-1 then i think we'll lose!!
-
feeling unusually optimistic so i'm gonna go for a convincing 3-0 victory. pedersen to continue his good run of form, savage and Bothroyd with the others.
-
he has to take some responsability for the accident alan. if your a premiership footballer, you dont go around riding mopeds...simple!!

what they lived next door to each other? -
one thing learned from souness' time in charge was that he can be made to pay oer the odds for a player (Grabbi anyone!?)...and i'm sure he would do it quite happily for fergie. If he really wants fergie then theres no reason why we couldn't hold out for ten mil...not that i think we should sell him, but the club couldn't and wouldn't refuse an offer in that region!
