Interesting that Russia should be banned from the competition for invading Ukraine, a decision I agree with, yet the US & UK were not banned for their illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel is still allowed in the competition despite them committing a genocide. I was just about to say the same. 100% agreed with you here. What the coalition have done is put it out there that there is now an official boycott movement in place. As results get worse and we slide down the leagues more and more people who would have just stopped bothering going are now likely to think about joining the boycott. The main thing here is the focus has been put right where it should have always been, the wretched creatures that own the club and their pathetic lap dogs.

Been on the boycott for 15 years and will remain so until they are gone. It's the only way.

All of those reasons are not rooted in a love of the club or the desire to see the club do well and represent us, the people of the town and community, on the biggest stage possible. They're rooted in selfish behaviour and a complete egotistical world view. "No one tells me what to do" - Said like a 5 year old and with the same mentality. "Going to Rovers is my choice, my routine" It's all about them. Not a thought about the future or past of the club. No thought of pride and being part of something bigger than yourself. No thought about ensuring that we have a strong club going forward to hand over to future generations, something they can be proud of. These thoughts don't factor into it. It's just all about them and their small little world. Saturday afternoon is when they go to Ewood Park (for now) and watch a team wearing blue and white shirts play football. That's it. Fair do's if that's all you care about, but I don't want to hear anything from you about the performance on the pitch, the shit show that will be our inevitable relegation(s) or anything else. If you've not got the bollocks or brains to get on board and put in the most minimal effort (literally just do nothing) to improve the situation of the club then shut the fuck up about anything else to do with this football club. Your opinion is completely invalid. If you're not prepared to take some action to rid this club of the virus that is venkys ownership then YOU ARE part of the problem.

To add to this: If you look at the position we finished in during the 80s were were generally in the top six. There were only three seasons where we didn't and one of those years we won a trophy. Playoffs were only introduced in 87 I think and we were in the mix on more than one occasion. We always ended up falling short due to lack of funds but we were always up there challenging to get into the top flight. This notion that we only got into the top division is because of Jack Walker is just some bullshit spread by jealous dingles and southern media who couldn't stand the fact that a small working class northern town was challenging the big city clubs. We were always knocking on the door and trying to get up there. In 1980 (I think) we would have gone up but for Preston being too shit to win a game. Only under venkys have we been deliberately relegated out of the top division and been deliberately prevented from trying to get back. @SuperBrfcmentioned this in a thread about a year ago and I think it is absolutely bang on. This club is too big for venkys and all their hangers on. Where we are is not our level, it is venkys bringing us down to theirs. Don't support them. Don't give them a penny.
