  1. It will be a good day for sure. I wouldn't get too excited though, he'll just be replaced by some other odious turd that is equally repugnant.
  2. For the last fucking time, nobody is complaining about our league position. The reason for mine and many others discontent is the absolutely unacceptable performances we have put in against many teams this year, not least in THREE local derbies, and the outright dismissal of any promotion aspirations despite us being 3rd in the league. This last point is what has really grated me. If we'd have played with some bollocks and tried something other than the suicidal passing the ball around our own box we may have been able to scrape a few more points from these games and be looking at the top two instead of the rest of the pack that are rapidly catching us up. If you are brushing off the games against Wigan, Burnley and Preston as 'just a couple of bad performances' then I question how much of a fan you really are. I demand nothing less than total commitment from everything and everybody associated with the club when it comes to these fixtures.
  3. If the choice was between that and starting again I know which one I would pick. Sadly we won't get to choose.
  4. I don't think they put that much thought into it
  5. That can't be right. It takes at least three years for a manager to be able to get a team to consistently perform well.
  6. You get 24 points as well as bragging rights. You get nothing for losing eight derbies by giving totally gutless performances. The mental gymnastics going on round here really are something to behold.
  7. So the Burnley, PNE and Wigan embarrassments were all good then? Just practice matches I take it? This is Championship football where the steaks are incredibly high and local derby games are not the time or place to be fucking about 'practicing' something that has been proven time and time again to be totally ineffective at best and absolutely suicidal at worst.
  8. We had one of the best pitches around. It got a bit tired during the winter months but compared to old trafford or stamford beach it was like a snooker table. Yet another thing left to deteriorate under Venkys.
  9. To be honest it doesn't take much to do a better job than Waggott though.

  11. To be fair though, if you buy tickets to a band just expecting a greatest hits package then that's on you. The analogy is more like you paid to go and see an artist that you know full well can put on an absolute belter of a show but when you get there they just go through the motions and look like they'd be much happier elsewhere. If you didn't like the songs Weller played then that's on you. If he played them with some passion and gave it some bollocks then you have nothing to complain about really. Far too much this season Rovers fans have been subjected to a team that couldn't care less and a manager that seems to think he is to football what Michelangelo was to art. News flash, he isn't. Go a goal down and its just a case of 'oh well', and I'm not talking this kind of oh well either. https://youtu.be/0yq-Fw7C26Y
  12. We haven't played well for a full match this whole season. Every time we have lost we have been abysmal. As soon as we concede we have lost the game. We have some good players and we have shown that we can beat just about any team but for some reason the management keep insisting on playing a style of football that the players we have are not capable of. With the exception of 2009 era Barcelona I have never seen a team exclusively play out from the back successfully. Fair play, they wanted to try something different but after 20 minutes it was obvious that it wasn't going to work. Week after week we keep trying something that doesn't work and will never work. That is 100% the fault of the manager. He clearly doesn't know what he's doing.
  13. When you're a lazy moron, everything is too hard.

  15. I'm sure our manager and playing staff will be more than happy to make sure it wasn't a wasted journey.
  16. 3 points between 4th and 15th yet we're not concerned with promotion. Oh how I long for the days of supporting a real football club.
  17. That signing seems sus to me. Not even like he was a young sensation that we took a gamble on. Signed him, loaned out straight away. Doesn't make much sense to me.
  18. Nothing you are saying here matches with reality. I'm not sure which team you watch sometimes.
  19. There will have been an agents fee for the signing though.....
  20. Neither of those players are up yo it. We have one midfielder who has any shred of real quality about him and he's been frozen out of the squad since the Burnley game. I have no hope that things will improve after January. To sign the kind of players that can play the style of football the manager wants would cost 50million, and that's if we get a bargain.
  21. We'll pass the ball around in our own area for a bit, concede a goal and then completely capitulate allowing Cardiff to boost their goals for column. Long live the project, whatever that is.
  22. Better than having him on the pitch.
