  1. Will definitely have something to do with Money, or he’d stick it out til the summer or a better offer. He’s everything to lose in this move and on the face of it not much to gain. So what’s the kicker? Money talks. Not for one second saying that all the other stuff is bullshit or the club and owners aren’t a shit show.
  2. We’ll be pretty decent when Ohashi, Tronstad, etc… are all fully fit. The three new signings that started will definitely offer something.
  3. Take Dennis. Can’t afford him permanent, so we sign him on loan and break the top 6 and get promoted. As opposed to signing a lower league Striker on a permanent who fails to cut the mustard, finish 7th and stuck with a dud. It’s all unknown but there has to be a middle ground in all of this, we were never going to splash the cash on big fees and long contracts. Signing someone permanent doesn’t come with a guarantee of them being a success. What are your thoughts on say Sigurdsson? Permanent signing, good pedigree and yet half this board can’t wait to be rid. I’m by far from a happy clapper but accept we are where we are. And objectively it isn’t a bad window.
  4. Go on then, what would have been a good window in your eyes?
  5. Considering we’re Sat in 5th as of Feb, I’d say we’re capable of challenging yes.
  6. Ticks all the boxes and still people moan. Should be a great signing.
  7. As if being a Rovers supporter isn’t depressing enough, being a Dallas Mavericks fan compounds the misery (off topic)
  8. Wasn’t directly referring to the guy on X. More in general that some people will know bits of info passed on through people at the club. Just the same that there will be plenty of bullshit without a grain of validity. I had it with Cantwell over summer when I said he was signing. I don’t think he’s far off with his last tweet re: Suhail.
  9. Hardly Rocket science. Could easily know someone who works at the club or has done previous.
  10. How can you struggle to see what Cantwell brings. Needs better forward players around him but he’s by far our best footballer
  11. 😂 okay mate. Must have dreamt I have a brother who works in football.
  12. Exactly what I’ve been told also. But yeah, suppose he is better than current crop
  13. Bamford is a bellend, really hope we don’t go for him.
  14. It’s a body in. We’re short at CB, makes perfect sense. So would the Forshaw link, neither are coming to start it’s just to cover us in the run in. Don’t know what people expect, both are / would be reactive signings to the season so far (personnel wise) Hopefully we sign a more exciting winger and centre forward. Time will tell
  15. JE signing. Made him Captain whilst he was at Brum.
  16. Or… it’s mid season. Clubs situations change constantly due to injury, form, change of management etc… so might our needs change from say October to when January begins. We aren’t the only club who “struggle” in January. It’s common knowledge that it’s a tricky time to get things done, prices are inflated, clubs don’t particularly want to sell players - unless they’re surplus, which we’d then all moan that we’re scraping the barrel. In an ideal world we’d have signed the 4/5 players we want before the end of week 1. It’s not an ideal world though is it? I don’t doubt we’re not the greatest at getting deals done. But all this sensationalising on every other post on here is downright boring to read. It’s the 10/1. Just see what happens and then moan / praise. Absolutely none of you have any clue what is going on and what’s not.
