  1. I struggle to believe any (reputable) manager at this level would respect Rudy Gestede. Gestede is far too inexperienced in his position at this level. This alone can't be healthy in any organisation. Broughton atleast had more than 15 years as academy manager before coming to Rovers as sporting director.
  2. So this information, which came from senior sources within the club, were correct. This means that this has been "boiling" for atleast a few weeks.
  3. The replay shows that it was clear contact on Kargbo.
  4. Listening to Eustace's pre match interview (BBC), it is evident that he will rotate players; play the new signings and give chances to others.
  5. 10. Random/annual post of Harry Redknapp's interview from his car window on deadline day https://youtu.be/Nq5avEwoxfY?si=IxeFikOWgT8i0F5F
  6. Underage players (those under 21) do not have to be registered in the 25-player squad list for English Football League (EFL) clubs. EFL Squad Registration Rules 25-Player Limit: Clubs must submit a list of up to 25 players for league matches. U21 Exemption: Players under the age of 21 (as of January 1 of the relevant season) do not count toward this limit and do not need to be registered in the 25-player squad. Homegrown & Academy Players: Clubs are encouraged to develop young players, and U21s from academies can freely participate without impacting the squad limit. So, underage players can still play in league matches without being officially listed in the 25-player squad.
  7. What are the chances Brittain and Trondstad sign new contracts? 0?
  8. I thought perhaps Adam Owen would play a role as well.. But he isnt't named on Rovers' list of staff - despite being appointed in july..?? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24435276.blackburn-continue-backroom-staff-rejig-new-appointment/
  9. Weimann has played six seasons for Bristol City, I'm sure he is very eager to start
  10. In a sense, the carabao-cup exit is disappointing. We have so many midfield and attacking options that could do with a start
  11. Is Cantwell even match fit? I assume they will play a few in-doors matches during the international break t to get the new players up to speed though
  12. He looks like a gem (against youth teams)! Hopefully those skills translate well to senior football
  13. I thought Waggot said that they had approved the transfer budget ahead of the summer.. Why would they then need approvals?
  14. I think any "enthusiasm" Venkys had for Rovers is completely gone. After the criminal case arrived the willingness to fund the club has deflated.
