  1. We're going to lose, probably 1-2 or 0-2. Won't be watching after the last 2 shitshows. Got things to do around teh house and then build up to the England rugby match. However my team would be: Pears Brittain Hyam Carter Riberio Travis Tronstad JRC Buckley Dennis Guye Brittain looked knackered the other night so could put JRC there but I'd rather see him further forward and hope Brittain looks a bit fresher given his crossing ability.
  2. Or even Buckley, if he's fit put him in next to trav, at least bucko looks forwards with his passes. It's a shame we can't sub the entire team at half time. If val was proactive he'd have put some pace on about 15 minutes ago because it's too easy for stoke. I said I wasn't going to watch any more games after Saturdays embarrassment but I couldn't help myself and again wishing I hadn't bothered. The ironings looking far more appealing
  3. Why isn't Dennis starting? We've got no outlet going forward cause there's no pace or anyone to run off guye. We look aimless
  4. Embarrassing. Why can't we defend? It probably reinforces what a could job eustace did in getting us to the point he did. Sinking without a trace now. Really missed having any pace in that game but why weren't we up for it from the start? It's the hope that kills but it's well and truly gone now
  5. I'd go: Pears Brittain Carter Hyam (if not banned) Ribeiro Travis Sonny JRC Cantwell Kargbo Gueye Subs - Toth, Weiman, Sanderson, Forshaw, Dolan, Hedges, Woodrow, ACD, Ohashi I do think Weiman is better off the bench and I want to see us attack Derby and pin them back, much like we should have done with Swansea
  6. Shocking so far. Get Buckley and kargbo on. Lowe's done well first 2 games but got it writing today. Needed to get into them from the off. Going to take a massive 2nd half to get even a draw. Both goals avoidable. What's sanderson messing around at for the second, just clear it!
  7. I'd like us to go for it in this game, get into them from the off and keep their spirits down. Would go for a similar team to last time but play Buckley and Kargbo instead of Forshaw and Cozier-dubery with Dolan on the right as that's where he seems most effective. Would like to see Dennis get some minutes at some point.
  8. That kargbo assist for dolans goal was lovely! Only disappointment was not seeing Dennis get some minutes
  9. I think Buckleys really getting back to his best with this run in the team. When tronstad's back I'd like to see bucko pushed further forward, I think that would be a great midfield as him, sonny and trav are all good at closing down and breaking up the play whilst having him further forward allows for hopefully more through balls to our attackers
  10. He does just need to be a bit careful with his elbows though or he'll earn a reputation and some red cards
  11. Great performances all round tonight with big mac exceptional. Give the job to Lowe!
  12. It really is bewildering what the end game is from our feckless owners. If they wanted to continue putting the bare minimum in, with maybe a chance they can even make a profit, then surely going up and having the Premier League tv income, increased advertising streams and ticket sales would be a no-brainer. Unless they really want the club to wash its own face and use the trading model to sustain us, in which case staying in this division or dropping down makes more sense as you're able to blood our academy youngsters in a less high pressure environment before selling them on after they've gained valuable first team experience - probably interspersed with experienced heads on cheap short term loans and contracts to ensure you could field a viable first 11. The problem with that is we need a decent number of the youngsters to be of reasonable quality to be able to sell for decent money. That wasn't the plan clearly under Eustace who seemed reluctant to play some of our highly rated kids so might be part of the reason they refused him an improved contract. Someone else has mentioned on here it's unlikely to be for tax reasons why they keep us because you can't off-set debt from India to the UK, I think I have that right. Maybe then it is out of spite and all goes back to that snowball, they want us all to suffer and realise how big and powerful they are. The whole thing's just incredibly depressing and must be what purgatory is like. It's the glimmer of hope our good first half of the season brought which pains the most.
  13. True. They might also be aware of interest from a league that can still transfer players in
  14. He's a good finisher though and showed flashes of ability. Thought he could have been handy as an impact sub and added competition in the front line if could get back up to speed. Thought Pickering would have been omitted given he's likely to be injured for most of the rest of the season, especially now we signed LB cover
  15. You could have advised a trigger warning and blurred that insufferable fool's face out, it's made me instantly very angry seeing him!
  16. I want to get a ticket for me and my dad but would rather sit in the BB upper than any of the remaining seats. Is it a risk they decide not to open it, i wonder?
  17. I was thinking, has Carter's recent dodgy form been linked at all to the fact he was one yellow away from a 2 game ban, which given our serious lack of options in defence might have been playing on his mind as not wanting to let the team down? Just a thought. I'm not expecting much if anything from this game but the optimist in me really hopes having a few bodies back who can come off the bench might spark the whole team into life and we get back to playing like Oct/Nov time with the positive result to accompany the performance.
  18. I think the issue with Moran, as it is most of the team, is fatigue. Not being able to rotate has seriously affected our results. I'm sure if we'd been able to take him out for a couple of weeks he'd be more consistent. Its his first season of playing regular first team football and the championship is a relentless league
  19. I quite enjoy the Wrexham series and can't blame the owners for pumping the cash in, something we can only dream of currently. I watched their game against Cov last season when they did them. Their fans were well up for it and no doubt will also be for this, as others say we'll have to be on our game. They've got some big lads with Palmer up top and we've shown how bad we are at handling that recently. The extra exposure is very welcome provided we can see them off
  20. I thought JDT's press conference was at midday but no quotes from it yet. Anyone know if you can watch live? Could be interesting viewing
