JDT says that Wharton has a lot to learn off the ball. Morton is extremely weak off the ball so I'm not sure why JDT would be scared of playing Wharton instead.

For the most part a good performance today but disappointing to not win the game. Hudderfield were very poor but let's not forget they beat Middlesbrough and Watford recently. The game would probably have looked a lot different had they not gotten the two early goals. I hope the way that we played and the comeback gives the squad a boost for the crucial upcoming games.

A very poor performance against one of the worst teams in the league. As mentioned previously, the pitch looks terrible. Is this pitch standard compatible with the "project"?

Vale doesn't have enough skill to make up for his laziness. He looks like he's way out of his depth. I don't rate Gallagher but he is clearly a better player. Maybe JDT picks Vale sometimes because he tries to increase his value.

If what Nixon is saying is true, surely there should be a chance for the O'Brien deal to go through? Imagine if we were required to pay a fee to Nottingham if O'Brien scores 5 league goals. Would the EFL send it back and ask for clarification about what would happen if he scores 5 own goals in the league?

Just curious, why does the EFL require you to register a player's skin colour?

I guess the details regarding the verdict from the appeal panel will be public knowledge after a decision has been made? Will Waggott claim that the paperwork could not be completed in time because he was in Birmingham? Will he claim that we ran out of time because it took so long to complete Markanday's loan departure? Will he claim that we need more time than other teams because of our amateur adminstrators?

Artem Dzyuba ia a free agent. Might be worth a try. Huge target man who could bring good finishing and shithousery. He is slow and maybe past his best but could be effective on a short term deal.

Excellent news if O'Brien comes here. I really hope a good striker will be joining before the deadline. Otherwise I guess we would need to sign a free agent striker. There are some options like Berget, Zohore and Wickham who would likely be better than Vale and who could be available on a short term deal. It would not be ideal though.

I think a vast majority would agree that the results are way more important than attractive football. I also think it's impressive to be where we are in the league table, considering the squad. However, the boring football JDT currently seems to advocate doesn't seem effective. Very few goal scoring chances are created and the pointless suicide passing in front of our own penalty area is infuriating to watch. It's ridiculous to think back at some questioning whether Dack could fit into JDT's "high pressing system" when you consider the tactics on display. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems likely we will drop down the table very soon if nothing changes.
