  1. Others haven't, there is only one team in each group which can win it. The rest are runner up at best. The draw is what it is, I don't remember anyone particularly fearing Germany coming into the tournament.Didi Hamann was talking down their chances on the eve of the tournament. Were Scotland lucky to get into their group?
  2. What's that got to do with anything? England won their group, France didn't. It's tournament football, you get what you get. Would we have been unlucky if we'd come second and ended up in the other half?
  3. Nowt to do with luck, England topped their group and did the job. Others didn't, so end up where they belong.
  4. Aye, Lineker will be all over it, Lineker who's got as many World Cup and Euros winning medals as me.
  5. Any squad with Gary Lineker in it is the best squad. I mean you only have to look at all his winners' medals. Where do these wankers get off?!
  6. Speak for yourself, the Stanley double header was brilliant last season, and I'm looking forward to it this time around. It was a cracking afternoon, and allowed every player to get minutes. Good idea by Tomasson that, and I hope they keep it on.
  7. They'll definitely get the £22 million. Because of the better sell on percentage than Birmingham negotiated, it's now almost certain that Rovers will receive more for Wharton than Bellingham, but apparently they did well.
  8. Aye, it's not how you start it's how you finish. We've finally, after half a century, got a manager who can get us to the latter stages of big competitions. Southgate won't want to finish his time in charge with anything worse than at least another final appearance.
  9. I've never once said that I think they'd all flood back, what I've said is that they're staying away. This is why it isn't a straight comparison with other local clubs, we're thousands down on potential sales before we even start.
  10. That's 2 in 2 days just on here staying away because of the owners, and that's over a decade on, you'd think it might have waned by now.
  11. Just had a look at Heron foods website. They sell burgers, chips, biscuits..... It's scandalous, loads of unhealthy stuff. They don't even have any sex toilets for their staff, and their wagons use diesel. Don't they know obesity causes more deaths than vaping? Better off with Embassy.
  12. As mad as it sounds...... It would appear that they were going out of their way to try to help people get around the tenner. It's almost as if they've been getting some stick🙄
  13. It really isn't a good look, surely everyone had their say.
  14. Went down about 3 o'clock, about 10 in front of me and half a dozen behind by the time I'd finished. All bar 1 seemed to be renewing. Had to pay the tenner, but expressed my disappointment. They were at least offering each customer the chance and the support to do it online there and then.
  15. Just by way of research, would another price decrease next season convince you to buy one?
  16. Whichever way you lean, the goals of Armstrong, Brereton and Szmodics would suggest, if not prove it isn't a coincidence. If someone comes in, or even if we have to rely on Leonard, I'd say they could do worse than play alongside Gallagher who's played alongside those 3.
  17. Gallagher is never going to be a top scorer, but whoever plays with him invariably is.
  18. So it should be, it's an epic idea. Radical but epic.
  19. Bit defeatist, "nobody else has"??? What happened to having the emptiest ground and coming up with ways of filling it? It's just an idea, and I'm not having it that someone has mentioned it before, not in this form. As I say, it's just an idea, the two families I spoke to would take it up, just knocking 40 or 50 quid off doesn't suit their needs.
  20. Half the price for half the games, I don't see how that is taking the piss out of me and others that would still buy a full one. It's an idea to get those 2 families back to Ewood who definitely wouldn't have gone otherwise. It's just an idea,a way to utilise the size of the ground. I keep hearing that there would be less on for televised midweek matches, yet there are already many staying away who've bought a full ticket. Make them even cheaper and those staying away will also increase, it's already been admitted. The argument seems to be the lowering of midweek attendances, that will be exacerbated with the overall lowering of prices. At least this way, for 11/12 of the matches, the gate would actually increase.
