  1. Aye, grandson kicks off at 10.30, granddaughters game has been moved to an earlier kick off time because a couple were on Ewood. We're always double/treble booked at the best of times, but 12.30 kick offs are a pain.
  2. You didn't mention Hedges, which was the whole point of my post.
  3. It's the way they're lumped together, as if people can't mention one without the other. Dolan would bring 4 times more if they were put up for sale.
  4. He had a shot brilliantly saved and put the penalty away. We never got near their box after he went off. It's as if people give their marks out before we've kicked off, the Dolan and Hedges comparisons just show a lack of football knowledge.
  5. Said earlier today, it'll be another "but we're only 6 points off the play offs" finish to the season. To be fair, we'd all have taken that in August.
  6. It definitely wasn't a howler though, nowhere near.
  7. He needs to stop pulling the shirt every time he challenges, it'll cost us.
  8. Answer to your last question, Dolan went off.
  9. You're doing it again, neither goal was a "howler".
  10. Dolan had a shot brilliantly saved, put the penalty away and we never got near their goal after he went off. Hedges on the other hand, as well as half the others might as well have not bothered. Why you would come out with that comment after watching that match, I've no idea.
  11. Has Duffy signed for Boro? Get in
  12. It seems to be a bit left field even for this lot. Don't shoot me, but it seems more like a Eustace request signing. Has he played with/managed him before I'm wondering.
  13. Woodrow seems a bit left field, even for our lot. Don't shoot me, but seems more likely to be a Eustace request. Has he got any past links with him?? No, his mum's with him.
  14. He's having an x ray, see if there's any work in him.
  15. I like that, it should be made easier with Gueye now actually looking like he knows what he's doing. He's been nuisance value up until the last 3 games, he's now looking like a proper centre forward, and no doubt he'll improve further. I love how he's now rollocking the other players and demanding of them. Someone sent me a post on Friday night from a Leeds fan. He asked is anyone else watching Blackburn v Preston and thinking Blackburn's big centre forward is exactly what we need?
  16. He might say, but that isn't doing a Tomasson. I think he'll say we go with what we've got, couldn't imagine him throwing the toys out the pram.
  17. Don't think so to be honest, it would send a negative message to the existing squad, and Eustace will want to give it the best chance possible. Both barrels in the summer would be my guess, if he's still here.
  18. Not sure how many ounces are left in the current squad for Eustace to squeeze out, without significant help.
  19. It'll catch up with them, it's inevitable.
  20. That's another thing that happens on a regular basis, "Hedges and Dolan", as if people can't mention one without the other. Dolan is, by far, the more effective player. Put both up for sale and Dolan would be worth a lot more. Going back to last night, can you think of anything else positive to comment on in Dolans performance, or was it just the one thing?
  21. I think he suffers same as Nyambe to be honest. People go into games looking for the negatives and don't acknowledge the positives. Constantly highlight the negatives and don't acknowledge the positives and you soon have yourself a poorer player. As I've said before, if the team as a whole puts in a poor performance, Dolan is criticised more than most, the criticism is disproportionate.
  22. Keep it real, he'd absolutely no chance with the goal at Oxford for a start.
  23. I agreed with you, it was a "typical" performance. Do you think he played well? Certainly everyone around us stood up and clapped him off
