  1. Coventry away, when we've trouble at both full backs, seems like the least perfect place to blood a young winger to me.
  2. He's the obvious choice to start the game, especially if Pickering is any doubt like yesterday. He offers flexibility as the game goes on. I'd say that Coventry away is no place to be giving Cozier-Duberry his first start, even more so with the problems at full back.
  3. For this one definitely, I wouldn't change Dolan or Hedges, the other 2 places are up for debate.
  4. Back 7 picks itself, unless the injury/illness situation changes before Tuesday. Can't see Cozier-Duberry starting this one, nor would I pick him , I think he'll have to wait a while yet. I do think Gueye will start , with Dolan, Hedges and Weimann.
  5. I was actually saying at the ground that I'd take Travis off at half time, given the card situation. Wrong yet again.
  6. He did hold onto the ball well and played it back to Travis for the first goal, that was second half. I just don't see who anyone could choose over Dolan for motm. Such a pity that Ohashi didn't finish his chance first half, the pass from Dolan will probably be forgotten because we didn't score. Had he put it away, it would have been replayed over and over for some time.
  7. Whoever does the music, you've got to play CCR pre game every home match now,it's the law😁
  8. We'll be arguing over the Stoke win again at this rate.
  9. It is incredible, we lost Szmodics and to a lesser extent Gallagher, spent next to nowt yet end up virtually a full bench stronger.
  10. Excellent recruitment.
  11. Dolan man of the match for me, I'll be voting accordingly.
  12. I've heard it from a few Burnley fans, apparently if Gueye hadn't been sent off, Burnley would have won 🙄
  13. These early kick offs are playing havoc with the grandkids' footy.
  14. Don't really understand the clamour to drop Dolan. He's been instrumental in an excellent start to the season. There's nobody better at setting the tempo, I'd be very surprised if Eustace doesn't start him on Saturday.
  15. Interesting one on Pears, pre Bristol there was an almighty clamour for Toth to start that game. Not one person had Toth in their starting 11 for the Preston game. Pears' record going back to the last few games of last season is not one of a keeper who should be dropped.
  16. Dolan has played well this season, more than anyone else he sets the tempo and the workrate that should be expected. This team needs to graft to achieve anything, I'd be very surprised if he doesn’t start on Saturday.
  17. I think Eustace is managing to eek out results, whilst still understandably trying to find his "best" starting 11. At this stage, I'd say most managers are in a similar position, and for now we're coping with it better than most.
  18. Exactly, 12 points from 6 games is an excellent start.
  19. I would imagine that they wouldn't have happened without his say so. I think all this "we sign them and you have to coach them" stuff is for the birds.
  20. Yeah, I'd guess nothing happens in terms of team affairs without Eustace's say so,or at the very least his involvement.
  21. I don't honestly think he's a bloke who really cares about job description. Obviously I'm only going off what I see and read, but he appears to know what he wants and demands of others to get it. I never really went with the recruitment/coaching division thing that was banded about.
  22. Since the transfer window closed, everyone else has stepped into the background. To me, there is no doubt that he is in total control of the playing side, much more than just being the coach.
  23. It seems it to me as well, the team selection is becoming more and more difficult.
