It might be the end of January, but Pears has cost us a goal. Told you so.

I think that's down to last season and before,he was a liability. If we'd signed him in the summer, and it took until January until he made a goal costing mistake which was definitely down to him, we'd all be happy. -
I posted earlier on the Bristol match thread, I watched the match with their commentary. Their commentator said everything good that Blackburn have done has come through Dolan. I tended to agree
-
He doesn't want to sign what he's been offered is more like it. He certainly hasn't downed tools.
-
If he was at another club, we couldn't afford to buy him. His contract needs sorting asap
-
Which makes the opinion that we should sell Dolan even more baffling.

He's doing OK, it isn't as if we're going to replace him with Alisson. -

I watched yesterday's game with the Bristol commentary, and I quote, "everything good Blackburn have done has come through Dolan". -

The praise this season has gone to "the defence". How many times have I read that Pears had nothing to do because of "the defence"? It's almost as if he hasn't been part of it. Last season got to ridiculous levels. I'm not talking about the obvious mistakes, I'm talking about the ones like that pass out to Markanday that you yourself highlighted. When it got to those levels, it just got too much. -

It has calmed down this season, mainly because there hasn't been reason to criticise him. Some of the criticism last season was absolutely ridiculous, most of it prior to finding out that Wahlsted was a disaster. -
God knows how you found it, but cheers.

Pears looked like he was worried about colliding with the post to me, he seemed to pull out of his dive, he should have had it. It's a goalkeeper's lot, though, that I've hardly seen a comment about the brilliant one on one save he made. Second goal he'd no chance. On the whole, he's had a good season. -

Looks like we watched the same game, but let's not ruin the illusion. -

Just shows how poor a league it is when it's taken this long for us to drop out. Such a shame they're not supporting Eustace, we probably won't get a better chance. -

More ridiculous than a bit harsh. -
Might arrive at the same time as Coventry fans dropping off Thomas-Asante 🙄
-
I honestly couldn't see Eustace pushing any narrative he wasn't comfortable with, on behalf of the club. Unless you want to push that narrative.
-
You're right, but those 3 players are quality at this level. The fact we were never signing them is a different discussion.
-
To think there were noses being turned up over the last 2 weeks at O'brien, Brereton and McBurnie.

Good, sorry brother. He needs to keep that up, didn't think he had such a performance in him to be honest. Up to now he's been nuisance value, tonight he looked like he actually knew how to play the position. -

Quite the centre forward performance from Gueye, replicate that more often than not and he can be a real asset. It's almost as if a good coach has been working on him. The limitations are obvious and have been well discussed, as my mate said tonight, by the time we get the players back from injury, it will be too late. -
Quickly becoming my 2nd and 3rd favourite teams are Leeds and the Blades.

It's always this point that fans turn their anger on other fans, it isn't any fan's fault. It always makes me laugh when the "happy clapper' cliché starts to get thrown about. I always ask the question, what does a non happy clapper actually do that a happy clapper doesn't, other than come on here complaining and call other fellow fans a happy clapper?

Absolutely have to score first in the traditional opening salvo. Expecting yet another typical midweek Championship trudge, another like Portsmouth in the "just win it" category. A win for Rovers and an oh so predictable Boro/West Brom draw could make it a good Tuesday evening.
