Just got home from that. Sorry but we got what we deserved after those pathetic substitutions. Game was being played in their half for 75 minutes or whatever it was we made the first subs. We were comfortable. Gallagher gets injured, I’d have put Leonard and Dolan for Gallagher and Diaz and that’s it. Soon as we made those subs you could see what was coming. Changed the game and not in a good way, they were all over us and we sat back and got dominated. Feel before the changes we could have got a second. As soon as those subs were made that was it. The game wasn’t even asking for it ffs! We were so comfortable. Players were good tonight, the result COMPLETELY rests on the managers shoulders tonight. p.s. it’s criminal we’ve only seen A.Wharton in five games since November. Head and shoulders above Morton. He’s proven that every time he’s stepped on the pitch

If we’d been pumped 4-1 like against Preston fair enough but not booing at half time 0-0 when we are 6th in the league this late in the season. Before that he faked to throw it Dolan as well then threw it away. Full deserved what he received. Ref went to speak to the linesman right in front of me and I imagine linesman said he’s provoked Dolan and that why he just got a warning.

Enjoyed the day out today. First half made me mad, second half was super enjoyable. Should have walked away with 3 points. JRC immense, everyone was getting forward and we had so many chances. Leonard looked good when he came on, very pleased with what I saw. Huddersfield’s time wasting was pathetic and in the end karma got them with them conceding a late goal. Football needs to stamp this out of the game, it’s a disgrace no matter who does it. It needs changing and I’m sorry the officials have to do more. Ref didn’t do a thing today, thought he was very poor all game. Very happy to see JDT saying to the officials at the end ‘what about fucking time wasting?’ Repeatedly to the ref after the game when watching it back. Also as bad as this sounds, I enjoyed seeing Dolan push the ball boy over, your job is to get the ball back in play not be a smart arse. Got what he deserved

Just saying it wasn’t Morton’s fault today, Everyone was garbage. 100% agree we looked miles better with Buckley, was at Stoke when he went off injured and rightly so I was worried about his injury meaning Morton came back in. Again agree about Wharton, was so much better when he came on, he gets stuck in in fairness and passes it well. Frustrates me how little he’s played since THAT Blackpool game away.

Just got home. This game very much reminded me of Stoke home last season, late in The season needing a performance, concede an early goal and never look like doing anything after. Players looked on completely different wavelengths to each other today. Can’t blame this one on Morton either. Everyone was garbage really besides Pears who couldn’t have done anything with the two goals. Think we should be playing Dolan personally instead of BBD. He is so lazy off the ball right now, doesn’t track back and when he does may as well not be there because he won’t go near anyone. A few times Gallagher and Szmodics pressed and they just went down our left because Brereton stayed. Szmodics had a right pop at him for it. Back to passing it around between Carter and Hyam, no urgency whatsoever going forward. Was very disappointed thing to watch after the quick paced football we’d been playing going forward for the last few weeks. Very much worry for Burnley game if we are going to play that slow going nowhere football

It’s bizzare, contrast that with Dack who just seems to read where the ball will fall and always gets himself in the right positions for chances

Exactly what happened at Ewood when Chris Basham makes his second yellow offence. Ref looks like he’s going to book him then drops his arse i know it’s annoying when teams do but why aren’t our players making it hard for the ref? Hedges should be looking like he’s hurt. Travis and Co should be in the refs face there, hate to see it but can’t beat em, join em

My only guess for VAR not getting involved is because he slightly touches the ball but it’s still a yellow card tackle

Having calmed down after what was a heartbreaking last ten minutes yesterday, I’ve got to say yesterday was a great game of football. Friends of mine who were neutrals were messaging saying what a great game it was for them. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, we put in a proper performance, on another day we hold out for the win. It just wasn’t meant to be sadly no matter how much we wanted it. Gallagher OG very unlucky, hedges hitting the post and somehow spinning away just past the other post. Foderingham kick out looked for all the world to go out of play but dropped on the line to Morton who went down. Another day that just falls out of play etc. Ref was very frustrating from both sets of fans from what I’ve seen on Twitter. Without VAR we never had a penalty, not one player around appealed or saw it. I think we were lucky and I’ve seen people drawing comparisons with Willians handball last night and they’re night and day apart. Yellow was right for Robinson but sadly like at ewood a couple weeks earlier, the refs bottled a second yellow decision for Sheff Utd. Compared to majority of away performances this season I thought we were a completely different team this last 6 weeks. We’ve been brave and took the game to the opponents. The players should be proud on the whole. Easy to slag Morton off, he did very well for Szmodics goal winning the ball and in fairness plenty of people had a chance to stop them after Morton went down, Diaz had a pathetic attempt of a block. One thing I think is we aren’t ruthless enough sometimes to just stop an attack and take a yellow card. Morton’s down, refs not stopping. Just put their player on the ground so we can regroup and stop play yourself before anything can develop! Players should be proud, they’ve been great and seem to have really clicked lately. Fan should be proud too, it’s a long time since I’ve been in a Rovers atmosphere like that, it was brilliant to be a part of and I just wish we could replicate that noise at Ewood

I thought this. Gallagher looked very leggy to me most of this game. I do remember early doors him sliding they keeper while kicking and seeing him look like he was struggling for a couple mins so I wonder if that had any bearing
