I also feel Gallaghers consistency has gone up lately. He’s starting to play well in more games rather than now and then. Deffo looks a lot better when he’s central (which we all knew😂) Nice to see him playing with confidence, his work rate is phenomenal, let’s hope his confidence keeps growing

We’ve had some poor refereeing decisions so far tbh 2-3 goals been disallowed for fouls where the refs blown too early and we’ve put the ball in the back of the net a fraction later. (Stoke and Cardiff) both would have been equalisers. it all evens itself out so I’d say we were due some good luck

The second goal, Wharton was offside but he was pushed offside so maybe that’s why the linesman let it go

At the end of the day you’ve got to put egos aside and do what’s best for the club. No footballing reason he’s not playing and that’s evident. If we had a better replacement then fair enough but currently we don’t, we’ve been struggling creating things away from home and we’ve got our most creative player on the bench getting 5 mins and not in the squad tonight. It’s poor and I’m finding it hard to get behind JDT currently

I reckon JDT has said he’s probably not in his plans. Listening to a lot of players on undr the cosh, this happens a lot and sometimes senior pros get frozen out because managers don’t like their egos sometimes without even getting to know them. Not saying this has happened but I’ve heard about it a lot on that podcast
