Van den berg will be the day before or on the day if it goes ahead. Van hecke unless he doesn't sign a contract and we can get him permanently that won't happen I don't think.

There has been plenty of good quality free agents that have been made available which he have bizzarley not gone for. Alot of them also have key experience not only at premier league level but this level. Yet we are holding out hope Liverpool will allow us a player to leave when there is no guarantee they will. You have continually said quality players will come available later on and cheap which I agree. You have also said that not many other teams have done business. Therefore we will be in competition with those players to get these cheap decent signings and not be able to offer the wages or possibly transfer fee that others in this league can. That is my worry about leaving it last minute.

What was defined quality as in what players for example and what league. I think in terms of quality that can have a big impact in this league we are going to struggle with our wage budget.

In fairness we played a league 2 side. At times we wasn't great and somtimes the players were not good enough at present to play the pass and move play JDT wanted to implement. Overall good result and decent performance but no way championship quality. A few need a year or two out on loan in league 1 ideally.

Yeah that makes more sense eith the updated post. I agree we do need the right people but I'm struggling to see us achieve that as the days go by. Hope I like many others are proved wrong.
