There has been plenty of good quality free agents that have been made available which he have bizzarley not gone for. Alot of them also have key experience not only at premier league level but this level. Yet we are holding out hope Liverpool will allow us a player to leave when there is no guarantee they will. You have continually said quality players will come available later on and cheap which I agree. You have also said that not many other teams have done business. Therefore we will be in competition with those players to get these cheap decent signings and not be able to offer the wages or possibly transfer fee that others in this league can. That is my worry about leaving it last minute.

What was defined quality as in what players for example and what league. I think in terms of quality that can have a big impact in this league we are going to struggle with our wage budget.

In fairness we played a league 2 side. At times we wasn't great and somtimes the players were not good enough at present to play the pass and move play JDT wanted to implement. Overall good result and decent performance but no way championship quality. A few need a year or two out on loan in league 1 ideally.

I agree we need quality but at the same time we need a cb in now. We are playing a 17 year old 4 games in a row along with ayala. That has potential for an injury to one or both of those. We have no back up. There are quality cb available at the moment but we as usual are waiting to see what other clubs to and if we can pick at the bones.

Because that would have jeopardised the future progression of Wharton and Garrett and we can't be having that now can we.

Think possibly some of the prem ones mentioned dither than van den berg maybe out of our wage structure. But the European options you mentioned are certainly worth considering. Not necessarily them players as such but like you said the scouts should have their own knowledge in this area of who to get and the achievability.

Constant loaning of multiple players is not a stable team. The manager will know long term he can't count on them and therfore will have to scour the next loan signing. Yes 1 or 2 loan signings is needed but on top of that we need 3 or 4 permanent signings. We aint doing that seeking the leagues you have mentioned.

You are talking about getting orem players but we dint have the wages for that. Our wage structure is bottom end championship and league 1. European deals are more difficult to do due to work permits. We can't just keep loaning young premier leagueplayers as we will continue to be in the same position every window.

In fairness to JDT he can only work with what he has got and at the moment it is limited. He would normally like to operate different formations and play 3 at the back eith wingbacks but unable to.
