Great article. Sums it up well. I'm optimistic, he's learning about the squad, strengths and when to use subs and they are all developing well. I sense a win this weekend -

"John Eustace's side welcome the Rs to Ewood Park this weekend looking to make it four consecutive Championship wins at home to start the season." Four-tress Ewood?? -

Unbeaten away sounds grandiose. It's been 3 games with them conceding 4 goals away so I look it from a different perspective. If we were in Dec and half the season to play and they hadn't lost away from home for sure, that's more concerning. They have lost and they are bottom half of table. We are currently unbeaten home and away. They have also conceded late on and haven't held on from a winning position in their last game. Agree no game is easy in championship but I am confident we will get a victory at home. -

It's great isn't it? We have all this depth and we are second guessing what JE will do. Imagine the opposition. We could play with 2 up top. We could play with one. Both lethal. We could start Wiemann as 10 or ACD on the wing instead of Dolan or Hedges We could start Bucko instead of either Trav or Tron.. So many viable options! Very exciting. And we are unbeaten. And at home.. QPR should be worried, confused and concerned. All signs for us to have a good game and keep us fans, especially those at ewood, something to cheer about. Come on rovers. Who else is excited about tomorrow?! -

All good. Hopefully we get Siggy back asap. I'm excited about the depth of our squad now.. Even Bucko is there and hasn't played but also no comments to suggest he is unhappy and Trav is back and playing and happy. Great stuff -

Yeh I read that too but the pre QPR comments suggest he thought siggy was well for the game and then his "illness " dragged on.. I am curious about the illness but No sign of dishonesty for me "Cal wasn't quite ready and Siggy has still been poorly this week, he only trained on Saturday. It was a decision made on that as a result," Eustace told The Lancashire Telegraph. -

Yeh for sure. Only takes one long term injury (overdue!) and Saka is out. Also they play in all 4 competitions now so lots of opportunities at arsenal. Looks like Nwaneri has taken his opportunity well. Still great for us. Hope we see ACD in the first team soon. Giving players like Beck a chance in first team shows there are opportunities at Rovers which is great -

You don't think JE was honest about siggys illness? It seems like soggy got worse instead of better. He travelled but couldn't make the squad. I don't see any dishonesty there. More optimism from JEs part, wanting a quality player to get involved in the match squad when he maybe isn't quite ready. Good point about the yellows. With two reds already I bet the refs are already thinking we are a rough team and maybe card heavy/treat us differently. Hopefully Trav avoids a yellow this weekend -

Imagine they start him this weekend. The game is getting feisty. He lunges in for a tackle, gets a red and then bites the ref... Another 10game ban ?! -

I read he didn't sign a contract with arsenal because he wanted game time so he signed for Brighton...who immediately loaned him to us. Great for us. Fascinating for him. Not sure why not just stay at arsenal, all those great players like Saka and rice to learn from..Am sure arsenal would have loaned him to a championship side if he had stayed. -

There is the ideal world and the real world we live in as rovers fans. Unfortunately for rovers fans the real world is a place where we loan players like Elliott and they do well for us and they head off back to their parent clubs -

"We don't want to lose Owen for any more matches. He's had a fantastic impact in the team, he will be a miss but we have Harry Pickering who can come in and do a very good job. "You always learn from these situations, it's a big derby and a good experience for him. He's disappointed, he thinks he's let us down but he hasn't, it's fine. "This is part of his development and learning. We have a fantastic group of players and nobody will ever intentionally get sent off and let the boys down. "It's the heat of the moment stuff and the important thing is to learn from it." JE Got to love this. Our Head Coach -

Yeh that's what I read too. But if you are choosing to leave a top 4 side to join a top ?10 side to get games and then get loaned out to the championship for said games.. why not skip the middle man and not just stay at arsenal and request a loan from there. nelson, viera, others have been loaned out by arsenal. -

Do you think he will eventually replace Dolan or hedges on the wings once he is up to speed? (Or hedges gets his seasonal medium term injury)
