  1. He took almost every corner when he played the other night. They really trust and rate him..great to see he is straight in their line up every game since signing
  2. Yeh agreed. They just need a run of games and trust from the coach now. Hopefully he kicks on. JE can't stop praising him enough so let's see if that bears fruit
  3. I think Norwich will be highly attacking so I'd swap out Garrett and put Dolan in place. Dolan was rested from the line up last night but I think he will feature. Garrett will be replaced by bucko. Otherwise I agree with your line up mate
  4. Thing is, you can make stats turn shit to gold. 2 points out of 3 games Also considering the opposition on form and league table position alone we should have beaten Cardiff and Birmingham. We should be getting 6points out of 9 and we got 2 out 9 Forget comparisons of jdt last 4 games because they were different players, jdt didn't have gally or hedges or Dolan or jrc. If he had he could have got us 6 points out of those winnable games. But he isn't here so can't compare that.
  5. Yeh I agree. He doesn't get stoke He has got 2 points of a potential 9 2/9 He hasn't had much time but that's his record I hope he gets at least 1 more on the weekend because that looks like a certain loss
  6. Fuck me that was dire. Glad we got a clean sheet. Glad it's only a short walk to the car and a 1hr drive home. Feel for the guys around me who are heading back up North. Long journey for a such a shit performance but we got a clean sheet and I'll take that. Shame we had no real threat. Bucko looked ok coming back. The loanees are crap. Clean sheet though.
  7. I will begrudgingly take a clean sheet but this is a shit performance. These loanees are crap
  8. Yes he played last night but they pulled bucko from that game they should be playing gilsenan now ffs
  9. Starting gally again. Wow. If he gets injured I definitely blame the coaches. We don't have loads of choice but gally needs a rest
  10. Yeh I'm the same. Part of me tho is thinking he needs the summer to get his tactics drilled and embedded in to the squad so it's worth ignoring all the BS that comes out of the club for now because they are trying to paint a picture of positivity.
  11. "It is something we're looking at, we've been in for a week and you can't change everything straight away with the amount of games that we've had. "We haven't had much time to train. We're tweaking little things here and there. At Birmingham, we defended them very well. "We just need to keep working on the training field and work as hard as we can on that. "We have to give responsibility to the players to understand what it takes to defend the goal. It's not just the first phase of the attack, it's the second and third phase until we clear the ball out of the danger zone. "That's what we have to do on the training field and we will be doing that. It's evident that we didn't do that on Saturday."
  12. I was at ewood when dahlin scored a peach against Liverpool. Was one of my favourite goals as a kid haha, loved that team.
  13. I'd take either right now. Gally isn't going to last the season playing 90+mins twice a week. Can't believe we sold Ennis and didn't replace him either. Leaving us with telalovic
  14. Yeh it's great for the club and a focus on our academy. Watching him playing just now and he's hardly involved just wanders around whilst is frustrating, he looks like he is clearly well drilled and coached on what he is expected to do and not do and he picks out a beauty of a pass. He looks like he is going to be dictating the mf in the not too near future and just surveying what's going on around him, whilst his ball touches, passes and interceptions arent high numbers his positional play and ability to accelerate into spaces is good
  15. Yeh it is literally fair but I'm just annoyed about the Mcguire deal.
  16. Haha brilliant. I think I like pears a bit more now! What was swags response?
  17. Funny you mentioned that about Adam. Just watching the palace Everton game and he is doing just that. It's quite obvious in a game played with a bit more quality than championship. Hope bucko gets his form in quick too seeing as he will be playing tomorrow now
  18. Let's hope tomorrow is the 1in 4 JE said earlier - "We have John Buckley as well coming back in. He was due to play for the Under-21s tonight at Derby but we've pulled him out of that game. "He'll be involved tomorrow at some point tomorrow night and I am excited about that"
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68341348 So unfair. We can't conclude a deal on deadline day but these lot can sign someone a month later
  20. He's up against McNeill and I'm loving the ex rovers ex scum battle.. however he does look a little slow and lost out there at times. The occasional jog back to defence to help out. put a couple of peach balls through too mind
  21. Agreed. especially with it on sky. Sad news about Roy
  22. It's going to be cold, wet and dark in Cardiff. The pitch will be a shocker too so hope they are prepared
