Agreed. He is going for the long game. The results don't seem to matter to him. We may end up in a worse league position than last season but we are building to play better. He needs better players and a striker. If he stays he will get us up the league in seasons to come. This is a project -

Definitely. BBd is gone. He is trying fair play to the lad. He isn't a striker. He's working hard. We can do this!! 1-0 in second half -

Again and again. He is doing his best. He seems like he is actually trying. Fair play as we don't have a recognised striker -

12:06pm Dolan breaks free of Bradley after the Luton defender is caught on the ball, his shot is across Horvath and narrowly wide of the target Looks like he is trying to score at least. usually it's dribble dribble lose -

Definitely. Is he THAT injured he can't play the last game or two? Or be a part of them?! Rankin-Costello doing his best to score.. think he will get one at least. -

That's not bad considering who's starting. It's like our formation is 4-6-0 -

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
NeilInBristol replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes exactly and he hasn't done anything wrong since that match either..the Benson goal does look suspect as well as he has been doing it all season...but he has been scoring them all season too so got to give him credit. Not many keepers have stopped him either -

Well the folks who are saying TK should have been put back in the sire.. just wondering if they think TK would have done better with the only goal we conceded. It was very predictable from Benson -

Got a link to the interview?

Love this interview. JDT - I would have put it in the net. Yes we need a f***ing striker. The message is clear! Think he has been quite honest about hedges there.

Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
NeilInBristol replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think this thread demonstrates how divided we are about TK and Pears. Yes TK is our no.1 and has done well over the years but got injured and although Pears had a clanger against Wigan which our fanbase won't forget he had done alright deputising for TK so much so it's hard to justify dropping him for the final few games. Let's see how he performs tonight eh -
This is what I mean. Those comments show a lot about what JDT thinks about Morton as well as continuing to play him when Wharton just sat in reserves. Glad the decision to play him has been forced upon JDT now. Obvs im sorry he is injured for him personally but as a rovers fan he's not our player and he isn't the best mf option for our team.
-
Hope so. He was our best player again against PNE.
-
This.. exactly. Hope they see sense this summer. We need a striker. Not another opportunity to help develop someone else's talent
-
Have to agree. Find it interesting that JDT brought in Thomas. Has played him a lot and clearly rates him but decided to sub him at half time against PNE and brought on hedges.
-
Me also. Hope he gets to play to pick himself up. Wonder if JDT will keep him in the summer ?

"I don’t think we got passive against Preston, not at all, we actually got our biggest chance in the end of the game but weren’t clinical in that situation." "Players don’t make mistakes on purpose, but when you are not scoring many goals you need to be even more focused and take care of those situations." “It hurts everyone the goal we conceded, normally you win the game, you have the biggest chance of the game and then 30 seconds afterwards a player is unlucky to slip, another gets hit by the ball and it’s an own goal." Hedges. That miss. He isn't a striker but my god he could have scored a great goal to make us 2-0 up. Reading JDTs comments are always interesting. He's telling him he should have scored.. what's his best position? More importantly what's his future at rovers? We seemed to sign Thomas to play on the right in Jan.. hedges was a TM signing.. he was effective when he came on at half time but I fear all his hard work was undone with that final touch passing it to their keeper..
