  1. Thing is as supporters...we can only dream! We know where we want the club to be, back in the PL where the club deserves.. can the players and coaches make it happen?
  2. "Kimberley will head up a department that has been strengthened extensively since the appointment of Gregg Broughton as director of football last summer, including the return of a head of European scouting." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23470914.recruitment-chief-outlines-simple-blackburn-rovers-transfer-remit/ Ummmm....?!
  3. Lol Any videos circulating around? Would like to see that!
  4. Parts of the performance were enjoyable to watch however you just know something will go wrong. Bad subs. Bad formation. Sitting deep and allowing pressure to build. It's almost as obvious as Diaz cutting inside.. it's so predictable
  5. They wouldn't even give us 1.5m.. Where is the money from the Armstrong sale?
  6. Tomasson had previously called for Wharton to do more in training to push his claim for a starting spot, and feels he has seen more of that in recent weeks. “He did very well. I wanted to control the game and he is very good on the ball, he did that excellent,” Tomasson said. “I said that the boy has extremely good quality and he’s also training well now. “That’s also a development as a player, when you have a bit of a taste of it keep on training well, wanting more and he’s doing that at the moment. “Putting him in that position could be risky but sometimes you make those decisions because I want to win the game. “I know that’s a situation where you can lose it but he dealt well with the task very well.” The majority of Wharton’s previous starts had come when operating as part of a three-man central midfield. Yet his role against the Sky Blues was to play in the holding role and look to pick up possession where possible. He showed his calmness on the ball, willing to receive it in tight areas, but also his ability to find space which allowed Rovers to build from the back. It was a real responsibility placed upon his shoulders, not least given Tomasson’s comments after the Hull City stalemate that he needed to work more on the defensive side of his game. “Football is about different functions, you need to be good on the ball, win balls, that’s also part of football, defend, follow runs and all of those things,” Tomasson added. “He’s learning that and he’s doing that better now.”
  7. The ref would never have spotted that. I agree he was useless all game but no way he sees that.
  8. Fair. I've never seen him play. If he's that bad what's his future plans?
  9. Saw this comments on LET Home Thoughts From Abroad 47 mins ago User ID: 1291030 Results are so variable, it's beginning to look as if 71 points will be enough for sixth place. Here are all the remaining games involving clashes between teams in the top 11 (excluding the Luton-Boro game): Millwall-Rovers PNE-Rovers Rovers-Burnley Rovers-Luton WBA-Sunderland Sheff United-WBA WBA-Norwich Sheffield United-PNE Boro-Coventry PNE-Sunderland So thirty points at stake - which is why the target-total may continue to drop. Maximum final points-totals at this stage: Millwall-74 Rovers-76 WBA-75 Coventry-72 Sunderland-71 Norwich-71 PNE-71 Realistically, Coventry, Sunderland, Norwich and PNE will all be out of the race if they don't win at the weekend (unless all those above them fail to win as well!) There will be a hell of a lot riding on Sunday's match between WBA and Sunderland. A draw would suit us down to the ground. We definitely have a tough run-in, but winning one of those games will count as a double-whammy. What a bummer that West Brom seem to be running into form! Last Updated: 38 mins ago
  10. They shouldn't have let him go until they had secured the tsf in which they left till late.. so they had already decided to ship him out instead of keep him in the squad for development. He could have been trained by JDTs staff and played reserves..
  11. JDT... “We look at the results from yesterday and today, we have plenty to play for. “Four games to go and we are in an excellent position" he is deluded .”.”
  12. It's meaningless unfortunately It's dire form. Keep doing the same thing we will keep getting the same results Exactly my thoughts. If we even make playoffs we won't do anything against these teams who can actually play and score Were we in control? This is just how team's play us now. It's embarrassing. At home at ewood. It's not control. Control would be winning not just faffing around with " possession" then giving them chance after chance to cross.
  13. Can't blame the keeper for that. Handball. Why was Wilson allowed time and space unmarked in the box Why did we give them all the time and possession free kicks and corner in the final 5mins Why bring on morton
  14. Question is why did they decide to loan him out?
  15. Why don't we do this. Throw everyone in the box and cause mayhem
  16. All the possession is pointless when we just give them corner after corner after free kick..all our own undoing
  17. Why are giving so many opportunities to Coventry at this stage in the game. I swear no other team does this
  18. What are we doing. Why can't we see off a game. Haven't they heard of game management?
  19. Why can't he do his usual run with the ball to a dead end with too many touches in their half. I'd take that now we are 1-0 up and 8mins to go
  20. Can we get the bus out quickly. This is too nervy
  21. We are starting to look a bit more desperate and play with less composure. Can we slow down a bit? 20mins left need to take hold of the game
