  1. some great pressing and lovely goals
  2. Any reason why they wouldn't? JDT is a class act. Still unsure over his Morton Wharton decision last year and his choice in going for 5 at the back with 10mins to go when we seem to always then fluff it ie fa cup but he's obviously got his reasons and he is doing much better for the club than those silly decisions so I fully support him
  3. ADAM WHARTON…7.5 Continues to shine in the middle of the pitch and made it look effortless at times against the Hornets. Very rarely misplaces a pass and every attack seemed to come through the youngster, who is proving he can be effective in a deeper role Review from yesterday's game. Looks like he should be our main man in cm this season now?
  4. Yeh it was a fabulous team goal and play started from pears. Beautiful Goal!
  5. So true. Also a goal like that given the circumstances and what we need from our "senior" players. Away from home and a clean sheet. It's just joy
  6. Just seen the highlights. What a great goal by hedges! Great team play.
  7. Cheers. Up the rovers. Great win
  8. Wow great win. So much pressure soaked up. Away win is so sweet!
  9. For anyone watching ....Is this a fair reflection of the game?
  10. Surprised we didn't look at him with our Scandinavian links
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0g8vxkc His interview today if anyone hasn't seen it! Very telling!
  12. "Our CEO (Steve Waggott) said a while ago that the expectation this season, first and foremost, is to stay in the league and develop players. “I understand Steve is realistic because the goal posts have been moved, but I am very ambitious and I want to win games as well. I know my lads are extremely ambitious and so are the fans. “We have very good players, but young players will make a couple of more mistakes than mature players who have played in the Premier League" https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23743852.blackburn-rovers-boss-tomasson-ambitious-young-squad/ This is good to see. JDT acknowledges SW comments but has his own agenda and some coaches wouldn't even bother saying the above. He speaks loud and clear about his intentions publicly which is honourable
  13. Great summary. Makes a lot of sense. Think he will get a lot of game time then? We did well when we secured Hyam. Think he will replicate that success?
  14. He's 32 already. If we are looking for frees and loans to save money why are we buying a 32 yr old who will be free soon anyway may as well spend that money on a player with experience and then get him for free next year
  15. So Sunderland won't pay his wages. He has a year left on his contract. Why don't we just get him for free next year?

  17. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23739545.blackburn-rovers-make-official-approach-danny-batth/ "Players have outlays - cars, mortgages etc - and when you get to the last year of your contract, you start wanting to negotiate a new one.” He added: “I'm only really interested in what happens on the grass. When we're playing Luton away, I would prefer Danny Batth right in the middle there, heading the ball out of the box. “But if you get to an impasse where there isn't a new contract offer that's suitable, and we're seeing what else out there. As I've said, if there is no sale when the window shuts then they are here and part of it. It's hotting up finally!!!
  18. Tony Mowbray says the situation at Sunderland is “complicated” as several experienced players consider their futures, including Danny Batth. Rovers hold interest in the centre-back who won the Player of the Season award at the Stadium of Light last term. Think it will happen??
